L'inspection de nouveaux matériaux fonctionnels pour les applications de conversion d'énergie est essentielle puisque les matériaux conventionnels ont atteint leurs limites. Un intérêt majeur a été porté sur les matériaux pérovskite/delafossite en tant que matériaux absorbants/conducteurs transparents à haute performance adaptés aux applications photovoltaïques/optoélectroniques. Dans cette thèse, une attention particulière a été accordée aux matériaux pérovskite/delafossite (CaSnO3, SrSnO3, CuFeO2) en tant qu'oxydes transparents conducteurs (OTC), ainsi qu'à la transformation de la phase oxyde de pérovskite en chalcogénures en tant que matériaux absorbants (CaSnS3). En outre, ce travail vise d’une part à faciliter le processus de synthèse de ces matériaux en utilisant des méthodes chimiques simples en inspectant les propriétés structurales, électroniques/physico-chimiques des oxydes conducteurs transparents./d’autre part, à étudier l'effet du dopage (terres rares/alcalins) sur l'amélioration de leurs propriétés. La nouveauté de cette thèse réside dans le processus de synthèse facile/la combinaison de l'investigation expérimentale/théorique de ces types de matériaux.

Reinforced concrete (RC) corbels are defined as short cantilever members with span-to-depth ratio (a-d) less than one. They are typically used as supports for precast beams or indoor cranes. Strengthening those corbels might be needed due to aging, deterioration, or a change of the load demand on the structure. Several options are available for strengthening RC corbels including: RC jacketing, wrapping FRP sheets, steel plates, or adding pre-tensioned or passive anchor rods. This study aims at investigating the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) corbels strengthened using pre-tensioned anchor rods. A total of ten as-built and strengthened corbels specimens were tested under monotonic loading up to failure. The test parameters included: (1) span to depth ratio of the corbel (a-d), (2) concrete compressive strength (f’c), (3) number of pre-tensioned rods, (4) and location of pre-tensioned rods. The results showed that strengthened corbels had significant strength improvement with a delay in crack formation and propagation. The increase in corbel’s strength was dependent on the aforementioned parameters. It was higher for corbels with higher concrete strength and lower span-to-depth ratio a-d. The results of the experimental tests conducted in this study in addition to ones available in the literature are compared against existing strength prediction models. The change in the failure mode with the increase in the pre-tensioning force is analyzed and correlated with the predicted governing mode. After comparing and analyzing the experimental results, modified strength prediction models are suggested for strengthening RC corbels with pre-tensioned anchor rods.

L'identification précoce au moment du diagnostic des formes malignes d'un phéochromocytome ou paragangliome (PHEO/PGL) s'avère essentielle afin d'améliorer leur pronostic.L'objectif de notre étude est de décrire les caractéristiques phénotypiques des PHE/PGL malins et des PHEO/PGL de pronstic incertain et de déterminer les facteurs prédictifs de malignité.Il s'agit d'une étude prospective, descriptive et comparative qui inclut 40 patients hospitalisés au service d'endocrinologie du CHU Lamine Debaghine entre 2019 et 2022.Dans un premier temps nous avons décrit les caractéristiques épidémiologiques, cliniques, biologiques, radiologiques, génétiques, histologiques et évolutives de l'ensemble de la population. Dans un deuxiéme temps nous avons comparé l'ensemble de ces caractéristiques dans deux groupes de patients que nous avons définis: le groupe des PHEO/PGL invasifs, métatastiques, et ceux avec une récidive tumorale (n=24) et le groupe des PHEO/PGL non métastatiques (n=16).En analyse bivariée les facteurs prédictifs de malignité suivants : le sexe masculin, les antécédents personnels de néoplasie maligne, les antécédents familiaux de PHEO/PGL, une HTA grade 2 ou grade 3, la persistance ou la réapparition de l'HTA en post opératoire, les contours irréguliers de la tumeur à l'imagerie, un score de PASS ? 4,des mitoses > 3/10 HPF, et une vascularisation tumorale irrégulière. En analyse multivariée seuls le score de PASS et le sexe masculins représentent des facteurs prédictifs de malignité indépendants.Des études prospectives, multicentriques, comportant de larges effectifs sont nécessaires afin de reconnaître précocement les patients à risque de développer des métastases

In this era, the magnitude of data shared is enormous and raised the bar for the quality of service and maintenance it requires. This paved the road for the integration of Fog Computing, which is an extension of the Cloud. Fog Computing’s main advantage is the increased quantity in which it can be deployed while in close vicinity of the end-users, thus enhancing their Quality of Experience (QoE). The connected vehicles domain is one of many domains that can benefit from Fog Computing. Moreover, caching has been an area of study for many years by researchers that aim to increase cache hit rate and decrease request delays affecting Connected Vehicles networks. Many studies implemented Machine Learning models to enhance cache hit rate and request delays. In this thesis, we implemented cooperation between a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) model and Federated Learning to improve caching in Connected Vehicles connected to fog nodes. Furthermore, the results showed the proposed model's effectiveness compared to traditional algorithms.

This study was conducted to reconfirm determine the effectof addition different levels of spearmint (Mentha spicata) on broilerchicks’ performance. One hundred and twenty eight day oldunsexed (Cobb) broiler chicks were used in this experiment. Birdswere distributed randomly into 16 pens (8/pen) as replicates, incomplete randomized design. The experimental diets wereformulated with four levels of spearmint (Mentha spicata) of 0, 1,1.5 and 2%. Feed and water were provided ad-libitum. Feed intake,body weight gain and feed conversion ratio were weekly recorded.Mortality rate was recorded also throughout the experiment. At theend of the experimental period, four birds from each treatment wererandomly selected, weighed and slaughtered for determination ofcarcass weight and dressing percentage. Average feed intakesobtained from the experiment were 2680.20, 2679.11, 2708.55 and2692.57 for diets 0, 1%, 1.5% and 2%, respectively. However, theincreased in body weight for the treatments were 1481.63, 1512.81,1519.57 and 1519.63, 0, 1%, 1.5% and 2%, respectively. Feedconversion ratios for the four treatments were found to be 1.92,1.94, 1.92 and 1.99 respectively. Dressing percentage were 73.12,74.17, 73.08 and73.47 respectively.The results indicated that the addition of different levels ofspearmint were found to be not significant (P>0.05) effect onweight gain, feed conversion ratio and dressing percentage. Alsovi the data showed that the supplementation of different levels ofspearmint to the diets of broiler improved feed intake and bodyweight gain.It could be concluded that spearmint (Mentha spicata) can beused as natural flavoring agent in broiler chicks at 1.5% ofspearmint as an optimum level in the diets.
