The present study aimed at studing the economics of production of Galia mellon by analyzing the returns and cost of production and estimating the relationship between Galia melon productivity and the main variables effecting Galia productivity. Multiple regression analysis using ordinary least squares method was employed for the purpose of estimating and analyzing the impact of the main variables affecting Galia productivity. Descriptive statistics was used for the purpose of analyzing the returns and the cost of productivity of Galia Melon. Both primary data and secondary data was collected. Results obtained showed that Galia production was profitable both for local marketing and export. The highest yield was obtained by farmers who irrigated the crop 8-10 times. Also, results obtained showed that applying fertilizer at distance from the plant was ideal for higher yield. Moreover, growing shelter crops that work as insect repellents proved to increase the productivity of the crop.

Une étude numérique , d’un écoulement turbulent incompressible bidimensionnel d’air traversant une conduite de section rectangulaire munie des chicanes planes transversales ,est entreprise ; en utilisant le mailleur Gambit et le code de calcul Fluent. Les équations gouvernantes, basées sur le modèle k-ω SST utilisé pour modéliser la turbulence, sont résolues par la méthode des volumes finis à l’aide de l’algorithme SIMPLE. Les profils et les champs de la vitesse axiale, ainsi que les profils et la distribution de la température totale dans le conduit ont été obtenus pour toute la géométrie considérée et pour différentes sections choisies, à savoir, en amont, en aval et entre les deux chicanes planes.

هدفت دراستنا إلى البحث في العلاقة الارتباطية بين الذكاء الوجداني والدافعية للإنجاز الدراسي لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو. كمنهج بحث استعملنا المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وكوسيلة قياس استعنّا بالمقياس الأول من إعداد فاروق عثمان والرزق (2001) لقياس الذكاء الوجداني، والثاني استعنّا بمقياس الدافعية للإنجاز الدراسي لصاحبه محمد جميل منصور (1986). ولتحليل البيانات الإحصائية استعملنا الرزمة الإحصائية للعلوم الإنسانية، الإصدار 26. في الأخير أسفرت دراستنا على النتائج التالية: توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً بين الذكاء الوجداني والدافعية للإنجاز الدراسي لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو. لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الوجداني لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو تُعزى لمتغير جنس التلاميذ (ذكور وإناث). لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في الذكاء الوجداني لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو تُعزى لعامل التخصص الدراسي (علمي، أدبي). لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في الدافعية للإنجاز الدراسي لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو تُعزى لعامل الجنس (ذكور وإناث). لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في الدافعية للإنجاز الدراسي لدى تلاميذ السنة الثالثة ثانوي بولاية تيزي وزو تُعزى لعامل التخصص (علمي، أدبي). وفي الأخير، ذُيّلت الدراسة بجملة من الاقتراحات من شأنها خدمة الموضوع.

Inclusion has become the newest trend in most countries around the world, including Lebanon. This has necessitated that general education teachers deal with students with special needs; however, they are not adequately qualified to do so. Recently, school guidance and counseling in Lebanon has begun expanding and many of the tasks required for students with special needs are expected to be done by the school counselor. In fact, the literature reveals that the counselor’s general role still remains undefined, especially in Lebanon where there are no national standards. The aim of this study was to identify the tasks that elementary school counselors are expected to perform with regards to students with special needs both from the counselors’ and the teachers’ perspectives. The following research questions were addressed: 1) What are the school policies regarding inclusion and how are these reflected in job descriptions of counselors and teachers? 2) What are elementary teachers’ and counselors’ perceptions and expectations of the school counselor’s role in working with students with special needs? 3) How do the perceptions and expectations of teachers and counselors with regards to the counselor’s role in working with students with special needs compare? Analysis of the semi-structured interviews conducted with elementary teachers and elementary school counselors revealed that teachers and counselors both have little awareness of what the role of a school counselor is. The findings also suggest that the most common theme between teachers and counselors was the need for more collaboration between the two parties. Recommendations for future research and implications for practice are discussed.

Maps are so important to serve our live, maps are used at ancient centuries by different cultures. Nowadays we have two types of maps the planimetric and topographic maps. There are several mathematical models to represent the shape of the earth. The verity in map datum and map projection may cause some confusion and errors.One of published maps in Sudan are 1:100,000 which datum Clarke 1880 and projection TM. Nowadays many users using WGS84-UTM by default.The objective of this research is to compare the effect of changing map datum or projection on measured map distances and evaluate these effects.Datum change has greater effect than the projection change. The error in measured distance is depends on the direction and the scale factor between WGS84 and CLARKE1880 is 0.996.

La polyarthrite rhumatoïde, chef de fil des rhumatismes inflammatoires chroniques, est parmi les maladies ayant un lourd tribut fonctionnel, psychologique et socioéconomique. Elle est aussi responsable de manifestations extra articulaires pouvant compromette le pronostic vital. Notre étude a pour objet l’évaluation de la qualité de vie des patients atteints de polyarthrite rhumatoïde à Marrakech. Pour cela, une fiche d’exploitation et les questionnaires : «Echelle de Mesure de L’impact de la Polyarthrite Rhumatoïde » court, « Groningen Activity Restriction Scale », « Hamilton dépression » et l’échelle d’appréciation de l’anxiété de Max Hamilton ont été utilisés. Nous avons recruté 80 malades répondant aux critères de l’American college of rheumatology 1987. Les valeurs de qualité de vie des patients ainsi que la mesure de leur impotence fonctionnelle s’intégraient dans les valeurs moyennes des échelles de mesures correspondantes. Un tiers des malades présentait une anxiété et 76.3 % d’entre eux présentaient une dépression. La maladie affectait de façon considérable le travail des patients et leurs activités quotidiennes. Nous avons noté que 78.8 % des patients dépendaient totalement de leurs entourages. Cette dépendance était statistiquement liée au statut fonctionnel des malades. Aucune relation n’a été noté entre l’existence ou non de déformations articulaires et le statut fonctionnel. L’évaluation de la douleur par l’échelle visuelle analogique a révélé que 51.3 % des malades avaient des valeurs inférieures à 30 %. Un traitement de fond a été administré chez 76% des patients et 59 % des patients avaient une bonne observance thérapeutique. Cette observance était statistiquement liée à l’adhérence à un système d’assurance. La part des pratiques traditionnelles peut être due au bas niveau d’instruction et à la faible couverture sanitaire des malades mais surtout l’importante offre de « soin » par les charlatans dans notre société. L’insomnie est fréquente au cours de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde et elle est liée au statut fonctionnel des malades. La raideur et la douleur engendrée par la maladie expliquent le lien significatif entre les problèmes sexuels et la qualité de vie dans sa composante symptôme. La polyarthrite rhumatoïde altère de façon considérable la qualité de vie du patient qui en est atteint. Une prise en charge multidisciplinaire, incluant tous les professionnels de santé s’avère ainsi nécessaire, sans omette l’implication du patient lui-même et de son entourage, pour une meilleure compréhension de cette pathologie aux multiples facettes.

هدفت هذه الدِّراسة إلى معرفة العوامل المُؤَدِّية إلى الغِش الأكَادِيميّ في الجَامعات الفلسطينيَّة وآليَّات المواجهة من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التَّدريس في محافظة بيت لحم، حيث استخدم الباحث المَنْهَج الوصفيّ التحليليّ، واعتمد على الاستبيان أداة للدراسة. وتشكلت عيّنة الدراسة من عيّنة عشوائية بسيطة بلغت (100) من أعضاء هيئة التَّدريس في جامعات محافظة بيت لحم. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج، كان أهمها أنَّ العوامل المُؤَدِّية إلى الغِش الأكَادِيميّ الخاصة بالطَّلبة وإدارة الجامعات كانت مرتفعة، وكذلك فإنَّ آليَّات مكافحة الغِش غير الرَّسمية كانت مرتفعة، أما الرَّسمية فكانت منخفضة. كذلك أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا حسب متغيِّرات الجنس ومكان العمل، في حين كانت هناك فروق في آليات المواجهة حسب متغيّر المُؤَهِّل ولصالح مستوى (ماجستير ودكتوراه)، وفروق في العوامل المُؤَدِّية إلى الغِش تُعزى لمتغيّر سنوات الخبرة ولصالح الخبرات الكبيرة. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة البحث في موضوع العوامل المُؤَدِّية إلى الغِش، والتأثيرات السَّلبية لها، وإجراء المزيد من الدراسات.
