The present work aims at the study of some parameters influencing the post mortem pH of 4 types of muscles of the carcass of dromedary slaughtered at the abattoir Touggourt. Some parameters are related to the animal and and others are mastered by humans. The measurement of the pH and the temperature, is carried out at 1h and half after the slaughter, the skinning and the evisceration of the carcasses for the 4 muscles: Cleido-mastoid, Semi membranosus, Triceps Brachii and Psoas major. the study was carried out on a sample of twenty camels of the Saharawi population and the Tergui population. These animals are 1 to 7 years old.PH values p. m at 1h 30mn vary according to the type of muscle, with the highest values recorded in Triceps Brachii (6.99 ≤ pH ≤ 7.14), then the Cleido-mastoid with a pH of 6.98 to 6.84 and for Semi membranosus and Psoas major which are the closest, with a pH of 6.82 to 6.62 and 6.80 to 6.65 respectively.Regarding, animal related parameters, age affected the pH with a strong negative correlation (r = -0.99; p>0.0001), the weight of the carcass also with a negative relation (r = -0.98; p>0.0003). Then sex, while the race hasn't a relationship with the pH. For parameters mastered by humans, the fasting time serve to increase the pH value p. m, corresponds to a positive correlation (r = 0.74; p>0.0007), Moreover, the rearing mode can affect the latter.Le présent travail a pour objectif , l’étude de quelques paramètres influençant le pH post mortem de 4 types de muscles de la carcasse de dromadaires abattus à l'abattoir de Touggourt. Certains parametres sont liés à l'animal et d’ autres sont maitrisés par l'homme. La mesure du pH et la température, est réalisée à 1h et demi aprés l’abattage, le depouillement et l’eviscération des carcasses pour les 4 muscles: Cleido-mastoidien , Semi membranosus, Triceps Brachii et Psoas major . l’etude a été realisée sur un echantillon de vingt dromadaires de la population Sahraoui et la population Tergui. Ces animaux sont âgés de 1 à 7 ans.Les valeurs du pH p. m à 1h 30mn varient en fonction du type de muscle, avec les plus hautes valeurs enregistrées chez le Triceps Brachii (6.99 ≤ pH ≤ 7.14), puis le Cleido-mastoidien avec un pH de 6.98 à 6.84 et pour le Semi membranosus et Psoas major qui sont les plus proches, avec un pH de 6.82 à 6.62 et de 6.80 à 6.65 respectivement.Concernant, les paramètres liés à l'animal, l'âge affecte le pH avec une forte corrélation négative (r= -0.99 ; p>0.0001). Le poids de la carcasse a une relation négative (r= -0.98 ; p>0.0003). Puis le sexe, tandis que la race n'est pas en relation avec le pH. Pour les paramètres maitrisés par l'homme, le temps de mise à jeun sert à augmenter la valeur de pH p. m, correspond une corrélation positive (r= 0.74 ; p>0.0007), aussi que le mode d’élevage affecte ce parametre .

Aim:6 North is the only pediatric medical-surgical unit at AUB-MC. Many times it is impossible to admit patients because rooms are blocked for isolating children with infectious diseases. The aim of this project is to assess the bed management problem in 6 North and to propose a feasible short-term solution pending new buildings coming on stream. Methods: In depth examination of the bed management problem in 6 North and selected literature review to identify effective strategies for overcoming the problem in the short-term. Results: I t is proposed to convert three rooms in 6 South (occupancy rate 50percent) for the isolation of 6 North patients, and to reorganize patient care in 6 North. Conclusion: Converting three rooms in 6 South for the isolation of 6 North patients will ease the admission pressures on 6 North at reasonable costs, thereby facilitating better utilization of beds in 6 North and 6 South. The effect will be to reduce the number of pediatric patients staying unnecessarily in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and reduce loss of revenue by diverting patients who should be admitted to 6 North to other hospitals.

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a disorder characterized by uncontrolled mitogen etic activation and proliferation of hematopoietic precursor cells. Up to 30 % of adult patients with AML do not achieve complete remission when treated using chemotherapy. In addition, severe side effects usually limit the efficacy of available therapeutic approaches. As a result, novel tumor-selective therapeutics capable of targeting and eliminating AML blasts while sparing normal cells are urgently needed. In this study, we determine the potency and selectivity of an engineered, urokinase-activated recombinant anthrax fusion toxin (PrAgU2/FP59) on a panel of 9 AML cell lines and on normal progenitor bone marrow blasts. All 9 AML cell lines tested were sensitive to PrAgU2/FP59 while normal progenitor, bone marrow blasts were not, demonstrating the potency and selectivity of this tumor-targeted approach. Cytotoxicity of PrAgU2/FP59 appeared to be non-apoptotic and is dependent on the expression of an active cell surface urokinase plasminogen activator system (uPA/uPAR) system. Targeting the urokinase system, a protease overexpressed on AML cells, appears to be a promising approach for the development of AML-specific therapeutics.

D'où la grandedifficulté à pouvoir diagnosti uer une parodontite agressive chez le sujet jeune.Pour établir un tel dia g ostic, l'anamnèse, l'examen clinique, radiographique etmicrobiologique complet son indispensables.Lors de la phase et du raitement étiologique, la recherche et l'éradication desfacteurs de risques locaux, r gionaux et généraux, sont à prendre en compte car ilspourraient empêcher une ré onse optimale au traitement. Après réévaluation, lachirurgie pourra être nécessa e. Mais plus le diagnostic et la phase étiologique sontréalisés tôt plus la réponse au traitement est positive, en effet la lésion en phase activea un potentiel de régénération )lus important.L'implication du jeune j atient dans son traitement est primordiale, il doit êtreconscient de l'irréversibilité d sa maladie et des suites qu'il encoure si rien n'est fait.Dans ce genre de pathologie I relation praticien- patient prend toute son ampleur.

تناولت هذه الدراسة موضوع "فعالية برنامج علاجي معرفي سلوكي لتخفيف من سلوك العدواني عند المراهق الجانح " تم الاعتماد على المنهج العيادي الذي اعتبرناه الأنسب لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة ، و استخدمت الباحثة أدوات وهي ( الملاحظة ، المقابلة النصف توجيهية العيادية ، مقياس السلوك العدواني ، مقياس الأفكار اللاعقلانية ، وبرنامج العلاجي المعرفي السلوكي ). و قد تكونت مجموعة الدراسة من أربعة حالات لأحداث جانحين بمؤسسة إعادة التربية بعين مليلة أم البواقي ، و تمت دراسة حالاتهم دراسة معمقة من أجل التأكد من مدى فعالية البرنامج العلاجي المعرفي السلوكي وتخفيف من السلوك العدواني لديهم .و تم التوصل إلى نتائج :-توجد فعالية للبرنامج العلاجي المعرفي السلوكي في التخفيف من السلوك العدواني لدى المراهق الجانح .-تساهم التقنيات المعرفية في إعادة البناء المعرفي و تصحيح المعتقدات الخاطئة للعدوان لدى المراهق الجانح .-تساهم التقنيات السلوكية في التخفيف من السلوك العدواني الذي يظهر لدى المراهق الجانح .

Les derniers séismes de Loma Prieta (USA, 1989), Kobe (Japon, 1995), Izmit (Turquie, 1999), Chi-chi (Taiwan, 1999) ont confirmé que les ponts peuvent être des structures très vulnérables sous chargement dynamique. Le calcul de la réponse sismique d'un pont nécessite le développement d'un modèle mathématique qui peut être étalonné à partir des caractéristiques dynamiques mesurées dans le cas où l'ouvrage existe. Ces caractéristiques dynamiques sont les périodes et les formes propres de vibration ainsi que les amortissements modaux. Le travail qui est proposé dans ce mémoire de magister porte sur le développement d'un modèle tridimensionnel en éléments finis d'un pont à haubans, le premier du genre réalisé en Algérie sur l'Oued Dib (Wilaya de Mila). Par la suite les fréquences calculées au moyen de ce modèle sont comparées aux valeurs expérimentales, extraites de l'interprétation d'enregistrements de bruit de fond, obtenus à partir d'une série de tests réalisés sur l'ouvrage au moyen d'un équipement approprié récemment acquis. Par ailleurs, ce même modèle a permis de visualiser la forme des modes propres de vibration de l'ouvrage. Ce résultat s'est avéré utile pour le positionnement des capteurs le long du tablier lors des tests.
