The old historical buildings in Palestine were built thousands years ago, by using large stones and the old traditional methods of construction and materials available at that time. It is still unknown how these buildings are affected when exposed to the forces of earthquakes. In fact, the effect of these forces varies based on the different establishment of these buildings and the materials used when they were established. Ancient existing stone structures have been severely affected when subjected to seismic load motions; this may be due to lack the periodic maintenance of these buildings and the presence of weaknesses in these buildings Resistant to earthquake loads. Restoration and retrofitting are two ways to preserve these historic buildings. Therefore, the focus of this research will be on using the Nonlinear Static Analysis Approach and investigating the seismic response of existing historic stone buildings against seismic forces. In addition, it aims at finding ways to develop and strengthen those old buildings against the forces, as well as to assess the seismic bearing strength of historical buildings in Palestine. For this purpose, a typical building structure in the old city of Hebron will be analyzed using 3muri software program, which is a specified finite element software for masonry building assessment. The results of the analysis of this building under the influence of seismic loads will be studied and appropriate recommendations will be presented to strengthen those buildings and support them to resist earthquakes in the future.

Face à l'épidémie de Covid-19 qui sévit dans le monde depuis presqu'un an, le gouvernement a dû prendre des mesures sans précédent : le confinement de la population. Ces décisions exceptionnelles ont engendré des difficultés de gestion qui ont dû privilégier la sécurité collective souvent au détriment de la qualité de vie des personnes en situation handicapé très impactées par le SARS-Cov-2 entrainant des conséquences néfastes physiques et psychologiques sur leur santé. L'objectif principal de cette recherche dans sa globalité c'est de terminer les facteurs affectifs, cognitifs, sociaux et conatifs chez l'athlète handicapé à savoir notamment explorer la présence d'une résilience chez le sportif handicapé, ainsi la situation actuelle (Covid-19) vécu par le monde qui détermine une perte de conscience pour les personnes en besoin particulier qui joue avec le moral et le physique

Background: Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is a degenerative disorder considered as the main cause of blindness among ageing populations, AMD advances so slowly that vision loss may take a long time to occur. In others, the disease progresses faster and may lead to a loss of vision. There is a strong biological rationale supporting a role of inflammation in the development and progression of AMD. Objective: To study the effect of Vitamin D supplementation on AMD by reduction of inflammation markers and amyloid beta levels in blood. Method: A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted with forty-one patients with AMD had been matched, randomly allocated into two groups by simple randomization method and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Twenty-one patients were in intervention group who received vitamin D supplementation and twenty patients were in control group that did not receive any supplements and continued on their routine diet. Results: when comparing the test results in the control group pre and post intervention period Amyloid beta, Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF), Interleukin 6 (IL6), Interleukin 1 (IL1), high sensitivity C Reactive Protein (hs-CRP), Lymph cells and Monocyte cells showed non-significant increase (p=0.223, 0.474, 0.097, 0.166, 0.156, 0.058, 0.084) respectively, but their White Blood Cells (WBC) counts reported significant decrease (p=0.006). In intervention group patients who received three month of vitamin D supplementation, their test results of Amyloid beta pre and post intervention reported significant increase (p=0.044), while TNF, IL6, IL1, hs-CRP, WBC and lymph cells tests revealed non-significant increase (p= 0.243, 0.065, 0.502, 0.644, 0.506, 0.174) respectively, surprisingly their monocyte cells test result showed significant decrease (p=0.022). Conclusion: Our findings indicated that none provides proof for associations between AMD and vitamin D supplementation. The association between vitamin D and AMD requires additional investigations in a large population studies, to elucidate whether vitamin D supplements has a beneficial effect in AMD progressing. L’objectif de cette thèse est de développer un outil d’évaluation de la gestion structurelle duréseau d’assainissement, dans le contexte algérien. L’approche méthodologique adoptée estbasée sur deux phases essentielles. La première phase se focalise sur l’identification desobjectifs, critères et indicateurs. La sélection des indicateurs prend en considération les moyensfinanciers et humains dont disposent les gestionnaires de l’office national de l’assainissement.La deuxième phase s’intéresse à l’évaluation des indicateurs identifiés. Au cours de cette phase,la construction des échelles de performance pour chaque indicateur est nécessaire. La note deperformance des objectifs est obtenue à l’aide de deux méthodes : la somme pondérée pouragréger les indicateurs et les critères et la méthode FAHP (Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process)pour la pondération. Enfin, l’outil est illustré par un exemple d’application sur le réseaud’assainissement de la ville de Bejaia, Algérie.
