Lean is a tool that helps organizations develop a continuous improvement culture by eliminating waste and minimizing the use of resources. Whereas Lean Six Sigma is a method of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. On the other hand, Industry 4.0 refers to a high-tech model that uses technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, blockchain, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence to foster flexible organizations. The concept of integrating Lean and Lean Six Sigma along with Industry 4.0 is still very recent and limited hence, and the literature from a bibliometric perspective. The integration is challenging in terms of contentment-wise and is a broad multi-dimensional research area. This study aims to analyze Lean Industry 4.0, Lean digital transformation, Lean Six Sigma Industry 4.0, and Six Sigma Industry 4.0 literature by assessing the state of the art, benefits, challenges, and gaps in literature using bibliometrics. In this study, articles published between 2010 and 2021 from the Scopus database only were analyzed to identify significant publications, journals, authors, institutions, and countries based on the number of publications as well as frequently used keywords and subject areas. This study contributes to developing the state- of- art of Lean Industry 4.0, Lean digital transformation, Lean Six Sigma Industry 4.0, and Six Sigma Industry 4.0 and helps researchers as well as practitioners to direct their future studies. The literature performance is assessed according to the overall number of publications and citations; this bibliometric analysis covers most of the published papers in all research domains.

Backround: Many adverse health effects in connection with qatchewing has been reported in the literature. On periodontal tissues, theexisting data are contradictory ranging from destructive effects tobeneficial effects and producing bacterial shifts compatible withperiodontal health. Objective:This study was to elaborate further on the effects of qatchewing on periodontal tissues clinically and on importantperiopathogens using a robust study design.Patients and methods:This cross-sectional, Al-thawra generalhospital, in Sana'a Yemen from 2007-2010, study recruited 400 longterm, heavy qat chewers and 100 non-chewers. Information aboutdemographics and smoking history was carefully obtained. The subjectswere examined clinically using CPI and CAL according to WHOmethodology. Oral hygiene was also assessed. Microbiologically, 40subgingival plaque samples obtained from periodontitis and healthy sitesof 10 qat chewers and 10 non-chewers using the highly sensitive andspecific Taqman real-time PCR assays. Results:Increased age, poor oral hygiene, being a male and smoker werevery strongly associated with CPI and CAL Scores. The qat chewers hadsignificantly higher max and mean CPI and CAL scores compared to thenon-chewers; however, after adjustment for other variable, qat chewingmaintained significant association with CAL but not CPI. While thechewing sides showed significantly higher scores than the non-chewingsides, subject-level analysis revealed that the situation is so in only 50%XIof the subjects. Microbiological results revealed that qat chewing wassignificantly associated with lower relative counts of importantperioathogens including; P. gingivalis, fusobacterium ssp., prevotellassp., and P. micra-like species in subgingival plaque samples fromperiodontitis and healthy sites. Conclusions:Based on findings from both parts of the study, it waspossible to develop a holistic model for the effects of qat chewing on theperiodontium, in which beneficial and detrimental effects are integrated. The model, for the 1st time, resolves contradiction not only within thecurrent study but between previous studies.
