الملخص

Les résultats de notre étude réalisée au niveau de l’abattoir de Tiaret nous ont la fréquence globale d’hydatidose ovine qui est de 11%(172/1584) et caprine de1% (08/1200), ce qui représente un taux inférieur à celui de Jaime, 1984 en Tunisie et l’Inde15,5% (Nair et all., 2006) , mais plus élevé à celui de 08,7% rapporté par Alkhalidi en 1998 en Libye. () n an attempt to establish the prevalence of cystic small ruminant, a study was conducted in Tiaret Abattoir. A total of1584sheep and1200 . Echinococcus granulosis were foundin11% of the sheep and1%in goats.In both sheep and goats, females were more infested than males. The category of or higher than 3 years was the most infected in sheep and goats. In sheep,the was in co-infection (liver and lungs).However, in goats the infection equally between liver and lungs. rate of the cysts in sheep was greater in sheep than in goats with 62% and 0% respectively.These findings reflect the existence of the life cycle maintenance and the transmission of the from definitive host (dogs) to intermediate hosts (sheepessentially) in Tiaret plans for further epidemiological studies and control programs
