الملخص

En Algérie, les déchets de verre représentent des quantités non négligeables et peuvent être valorisés dans plusieurs applications géotechniques, tels que les travaux routiers. D’autre part, les travaux de terrassements engendrent, généralement, des quantités de déblais argileux n’ayant pas les spécifications techniques requises pour être utilisées en remblais.On propose à travers ce sujet d’étudier l’influence de l’ajout de déchets de verre des caractéristiques mécaniques des argiles stabilisées avec du verre broyé(particules inférieures à 63 μm). Le travail consiste à réalise des essais œnométriques et de cisaillement à la boite de Casa grande sur l’argile naturelle prise comme référence et des mélanges (argile-verre broyé) à différents pourcentages.Il a été trouvé que l’ajout du verre élargie diminue les indices de gonflement et de tassement et modifie les caractéristiques intrinsèques de l’argile. () In Algeria, glass waste represents significant quantities and can be recovered in several applications, such as road works. On the other hand, earthworks generally generate enormous amounts of clay that do not have the technical specifications required to be used in backfill.The present work aims to study the influence of the addition of waste glass on the evolution of the mechanical characteristics of stabilized with crushed glass (particles smaller than 63μm). The work consists of carrying out and direct shear tests on natural clay taken as a reference and mixtures (clay-crushed glass) prepared at different percentages.It has been found that the addition of glass to clay decreases the swelling and settling rates and changes the intrinsic characteristics of the clay.
