requirements in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of teachers reached a high level.-The most important barrier to the application of self-management in kindergarten institutions is human and administrative barriers. The human barriers include the low willingness of officials in the Ministry of Education and its departments in change, kindergarten employees' understanding of the concept of participation in the administrative work as a result of a weakness in administrator experience, andthe lack of training programs for the rehabilitation of kindergartens administrators, while the administrative barriers include unavailability of physical resourcesnecessary for the development of kindergarten, unavailability of physical costs needed byself-management application, and the complexity of financial regulations that stand in the implementation of various projects-There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of research sample of administrators and teachers regarding the reality of kindergarten management and the requirements of self-management application in Homs City depending on academic qualification, educational qualification, and years of service, at a significance level of (0.05).-There are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of research sample of administrators and teachers regarding the reality of kindergarten management and the requirements of self-management application in Homs City depending on kindergarten type, ata significance level of (0.05)Based on these results, the researcher suggested several recommendations, including: *Spreading the culture of decentralization and self-management through conducting seminars and conferences on self-management and invitingthe administrative and teaching staff in kindergartens to attend them. * Establishing of workshops for the local community to spread the concept of a self-management culture of kindergarten institutions to ensure its activation and support to the development and permanent change.* Providing employees in kindergarten institutions with more independence and authority for testing and applying the changes and renovations under the supervision of employees at higher administrative levels. Research results and recommendation:The researcher has reached the following results: -The themes of administration reality in kindergarten institutions in Homs City in the approach of self-management from the perspective of administrators ranged between (1.86 and 2.77). The administrative decentralization theme was in the first place, with an average of (2.77) and a standard deviation of (0.77), while the decision making theme was in the sixth and last place, with an average of (1.86) and a standard deviation of (0.67).In comparison with a Certified Standard, we conclude that the reality of self-management application in kindergarten institutionsfrom the perspective of administrators reached a moderate level, with an average of (2.50) and a standard deviation of (0.72).-The themes of administration reality in kindergarten institutions in Homs City in the approach of self-management from the perspective of teachers ranged between (1.74 and 2.79). The supervision and accountability theme was in the first place, with an average of (2.79) and a standard deviation of (0.78), while the dissemination of information theme was in the sixth and last place, with an average of (1.74) and a standard deviation of (0.59). In comparison with a Certified Standard, we conclude that the reality of self-management application in kindergarten institutionsfrom the perspective of teachers reached a moderate level, with an average of (2.28) and a standard deviation of (0.68).-The themes of self-management application requirements in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of administrators ranged between (3.68 and 4.16). The financial and material requirement's theme was in the first place, with an average of (4.16) and a standard deviation of (1.35), while the organizational requirement's theme was in the fifth and last place, with an average of (3.68) and a standard deviation of (0.76). In comparison with a Certified Standard, we conclude that self-management application requirements in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of administrators reached a high level.-The themes of self-management application requirements in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of teachers ranged between (3.97 and 4.35). The financial and material requirement's theme was in the first place, with an average of (4.35) and a standard deviation of (1.43), while the organizational requirement's theme was in the fifth and last place, with an average of (3.97) and a standard deviation of (1.22). In comparison with a Certified Standard, we conclude that self-management application Research tools:In order to achieve the goals of the research , the researcher designed the following tools: -A questionnaire designed to determine the reality of self-management and the requirements and constraintsof its applications in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of administrators in Homs City.-Another questionnaire designed to determine the reality of self-management and the requirements and constraints of its applications in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of teachers in Homs City.-An interview checklist for employees in Kindergartens and Private Education Division at Directorate of Education in Homs City regarding the ways to develop the kindergarten institutions' performance in the light of approach to self-managementfrom their point of view.Research methodology:The researcher used the descriptive and analytical approach in the current research because it fits the nature and objectives of the research. The researcher also used the comparative approach in order to compare the administrators' and teachers' views in kindergarten institutions depending on the variables of academicqualification, educational qualification, years of service, and kindergarten type.Research variables:The research variables included two variables: 1)Independent variables: Academic qualification(high school or institute-university degrees -graduate), educational qualification: (holds a Diploma of Educational Habilitation -does not hold a Diploma of Educational Habilitation), years of experience in kindergarten (5 years and under, more than 5 years and less than 11 years, 11 years and over), and the type of kindergarten (public -private).2) Dependent variables: Administrators' scores regarding the reality of self-management and the requirements and constraints of its applications in kindergarten institutions in Homs City from their perspective and teachers' scores regarding the reality of self-management and the requirements and constraints of its applications in kindergarten institutions in Homs City from their perspective. Research SummarySuggested Model for the Developing of Kindergarten Institutions Performance in the Light of Approach to the Self-Management Research objectives:The research seeks to reach the following goals:-Determine the reality of management in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of administrators and teachers in Homs City in the light of approach to self-management.-Identify the requirements and constraints of self-management application in kindergarten institutions from the perspective of administrators and teachers in Homs City. -Detect the ways to develop kindergarten institutions' management in light of approach to self-management from the perspective of employees in Kindergartens and Private Education Division at Directorate of Education in Homs City-Detect whether there were differences between the averages of administrators' and teachers' estimates of the reality of kindergarten management in light of approach to self-management and determine the requirements of self-management application in kindergarten in Homs City depending on the academicqualification, educational qualification, years of service, and kindergarten type-Submit a suggested model for the developing of kindergarten institutions performance in the light of approach to self-management.Research population and sample:The size of administrators' population was (164) administrators, while the number of public and private kindergarten teachers was (867) teachers. For the interview purpose, the researcher selected a sample of all employees in Kindergartens and Private Education Division at Directorate of Education in Homs City. The sample consisted of (5) employees and represented the percentage (100%) of the population, while the sample of public and private kindergarten administrators in Homs City consisted of (80) administrators and represented the percentage (81.25%) of the population. In addition, the sample of public and private kindergarten teachers in Homs City consisted of (390) teachers and represented the percentage (90.03%) of the population
