ترجمة الملخص

This study aimed to identify the statusofthe professional performance of teachers in public schools in the governorate of Jerusalem, and how to improve it from the point of view of principals and supervisors. The study population consisted of all principals and supervisors in the public schools in the governorate of Jerusalem and their number (174), while the sample of the study was a randomly of (130) manager and supervisor. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire as a data collection tool, which included a (50) items and (4) aspects. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified by the appropriate educational and statistical methods. The researcher used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to answer the study questions and verify its hypotheses.The results of the study revealed that the statusof the professional performance of the teachers in the public schools in the governorate of Jerusalem came with a medium degree, with an average of (3.59) according to the five-level of Likert scale, and the aspect of "inter-relations" came in the first order, with an average of (3.72), While the aspect of "professional development" came in the last order, with an average of (3.21). Such as the results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05 ≥ α) between the sample of the study for the reality of the professional performance of the teachers in the public schools in Jerusalem Governorate attributable to variable of job title. While the results did not show statistically significant differences attributable to variables: gender, directorate, specialization, years of experience, educational qualification.In light of the results of the study, it was recommended that training courses should be held for teachers working in public schools to enrich their knowledge about the teacher's professional performance and prepare leaders in this field, such as giving وnew and various educational and technological means, and enroll teachers in sessions that enhance their information, and looking for new training methods.And the need for constructive and professional cooperation between the poles of educational learning process: managers, supervisors and teachers. And work to update and amend the laws relating to the profession of education and the professional performance of the teacher
