The broad objective of this research was to investigate the negative impact ofInternal Displaced Persons (IDPs) on the vegetation cover and the possibilityof restoring the natural environment affected by IDPs at ELGenina locality, more specifically; to assess the level of destruction of the vegetation cover inthe study area due to reliance on the vegetation cover for the provision of thenecessary needs for settlement for the IDPs. Two types of data were used tocollect the necessary information, namely, primary and secondary data. Thesource of the secondary data includes FNC, UN agency INGOS local NGOSdocuments, files articles, and annual report. The primary data were using twomethods; social survey through face-to-face interview with the IDPs andinventory of the vegetation cover in the study area to highlight the extent ofdegradation of the vegetation cover. The main findings of the research were; there are tremendous changes in theeconomical activities of the IDPs in the study area were the majority of theIDPs lost their sources of income generation which are mainly farming andprivate business. Trading on forest products (mainly fuelwood, charcoal andbuilding materials) become the source of income for a considerableproportion of the IDPs and this was reflected in alarming deforestation trend. It worth mentioning that the main causes of displacement in the study area isdue to natural resource-base conflicts. Climate change and variability is theresponsible factor behind the natural resources-base conflicts as perceived bythe IDPs. Natural and reserved forests represented settlement sites for theIDPs before establishment of IDPs camps. Accordingly, tree cover sacrificedto provide the necessary products for construction of shelters and provision ofsource of energy. Limited extension services were deployed to mobilize andsensitize IDPs to participate in rehabilitation of areas affected by theirresidence. The afforestation program confined to afforestation of the campsviiiwhere limited number of IDPs participated in the program. The majority ofthe IDPS assessed the afforestation program as successful. Inventory resultsrevealed a severe destruction of the vegetation cover where highly preferabletree species for fuelwood were overexploited and replaced by less preferablespecies. Usher, Mekhait and Gibaish become the dominant tree species on theexpense of Heglig, Haraz, Humaid, Aradaib and Sidir. The main conclusions drawn from the study were; natural and reserved forestsrepresented the main source for energy and building materials for the IDPs. Afictitious circle of about 10km around the IDPs camps is almost deprivedfrom the vegetation cover due to illicit felling and trading on forest products. It is possible to mobilize and sensitize IDPs to participate in afforestationprograms that lead to rehabilitation of deteriorated habitat. The mainrecommendation arrived at by this study is the importance of encouragingIDPs through changing in their attitudes to conserve the vegetation cover andtheir participation in rehabilitation of deteriorated environment.

Malaria is a very dangerous disease caused by the infection of red blood cells with Plasmodium, which is transmitted by female mosquitoes (Anopheles) throughout their feeding period from human blood. According to the World Health Organization, due to the biological evolution of the malaria parasite, which led to a rise in cases of infection to three million cases per year, while deaths are about four hundred thousand cases per year. In Sudan, the results of malaria examination differ from one laboratory to another, and the results are inaccurate, in addition to the long examination time and the lack of trained and qualified human element in villages and remote places from cities. The aim of this study to examine malaria automatically by CNN creating a computer vision for a computer system that gives results of high accuracy and provides time and serves the remote areas of the cities. Methodology is done by deep learning the data by using the CNN structure to classify the images of the blood sample into infected and uninfected, using standard images and dividing them into three infected and uninfected files and a test file, and then processing the images in the environment of the program (Anaconda) and using a high programming language (Python) and then Initialize image data to fit the neural network environment by converting it to grayscale. After that, the layers of the CNN were used on the images, and the model was evaluated by testing it with a random experiment for a set of images that are easy to draw and categorize into injured and uninjured. The model showed a high accuracy of 94.9% when training part of the images with a total of 19840 samples and when the value increased to seven, the result was 96.5% as shown the model produced two images that were randomly selected, drawn and classified into infected and uninfected, This study recommends Using computers with a high processor to train the largest size of images and data to obtain a higher accuracy rate of up to 100% and the model can be developed to determine the type of parasite, as well as a unified database that links between diagnosis and treatment at the same time.

This study aimed to identify the modified design of residential buildings in Palestine to adapt to their environment due to climate change, and to achieve the objectives of the study, reliability and validity of the study instrument were tested, also, after data collection process, data were coded and entered and processed statistically. The study population consisted of all existing residential buildings in the cities of Qalqilia and Nablus in 2015. the study sample consisted of (100) buildings in the cities of Qalqilia and Nablus, the sample building was chosen purposely. Moreover, the study relied on computer simulations to develop a model that represents a building scattered in Palestine in the cities of Qalqilia and Nablus to compare the effect of directing the building, thermal insulation, shading and crowding with the surrounding buildings on the thermal performance of the building and thermal satisfaction. the study concluded that the best orientation of the building to the south with a shading elements considered an appropriate thermal insulation has led to a reduction of energy consumption in the heating and air-conditioning in both cities by 45%. Furthermore, the increase in building density leads to lower thermal satisfaction of the population and increase the energy consumption of heating and air conditioning, especially in hot and humid areas, this requires the need to expand Street View to increase air movement, especially in those areas to provide better climate environment and reduce dependence on means of industrial air conditioning thus energy conservation to reduce the emission of environmentally harmful gases.

ABSTRACRTThe objectives of this study briefly were to examine the technicalefficiency of the tenant farmers of wheat in the Gezira Scheme, and toinvestigate the causal factors explaining this efficiency in the scheme, andhence draw conclusions and recommendations to be considered by themanagement and policy-makers. The technical efficiency of the ith tenantfarmer is defined in terms of the ratio of his mean production to thecorresponding mean production if the farmer effect is zero. The scope of this thesis was limited to an analysis of data collectedfrom selected sample of tenant farmers in an attempt to investigate thetechnical efficiency of the wheat producers in relation to the economic andsocio-cultural complex in which tenant live and make decisions.A stochastic frontier production function is used to estimate thetechnical efficiency of the wheat tenant farmers in the Gezira Scheme. Afrontier production function of Cobb-Douglas type is specified for panel1data. The number of observations on the different farmers needs not to bethe same. Estimates of the productive efficiency of individual tenantfarmers are found to be very low, ranging between 0.274 and 0.713, andthe bulk of them- about 52 percent- scored a rate of technical efficiencyless than or equal to 0.400.Many factors contributed to this low rate of productive efficiency, among which it seems that management and polices are of significant role.
