Improving maternal heath is one of the eight-millennium development coals it is widely accepted that the use of maternal health services helps in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality. Mothers' ignorance of antenatal care during pregnancy follow up may lead to antenatal complications which lead to the mothers' death. Health education is one of the used tools for stapling mothers' knowledge and behaviors. This study was carried out in Wad Medani town. The objective of this study was to study the effect of health education in promotion of antenatal care among pregnant women in the first and second trimester. Initial surveys for evaluating the knowledge and attitude and practices among the study group and the control group for pregnant women at the first and second trimester who come to the clinic intervention program carried out for a month Different ways were used including lectures. Evaluating the results of intervention using pre questionnaire that was used in the initial survey in order to compare the pre and post results. The latest intervention showed high results in a visit to the doctor in the first, second trimesters and knowledge about the vaccination against tetanus and knowledge about the benefit and use of folic acid and iron. Also there was a big impact on the knowledge of mothers for exclusive breast feeding and solving problems faced by mothers in the first few days of birth. The study recommended a design of health education program for the promotion of antenatal care in order to raise the level of knowledge, attitude practices for pregnant women.

Ce travail à été consacré essentiellement à l’étude de la cinétique d’électrodépositiond’alliage de Zn-Ni sur l’acier dans deux bain (chlorure, sulfate) ; en absence et en présenced’additifs dans le but de rechercher les condition optimales de l’élaborations de revêtementpouvant assuré une protection efficace contre la corrosion.Les mesures électrochimiques sont enregistrées par différentes techniques : Voltammétriecyclique, chronoampérométrie, chronopotentiométrie et la Voltammétrie linéaire pour les tests de corrosion.L’influence des différentes conditions expérimentales a été considérée en faisant varier de laconcentration de nickel et de densité de courant ainsi que le temps. Les revêtements préparésont une très bonne adhérence, une morphologie homogène, compacte et résistent mieux à lacorrosion.

This study aimed to determine the expression of microRNA molecules as early prognosis biomarkers for the detection of breast cancer. To achieve this project, a total of fifteen serum samples were collected from Iraqi women with breast cancer and from six serum samples were collected from healthy women volunteers as a control group. In these samples, levels of estrogen and progesterone hormones and cancer antigen 15-3 (CA15-3) marker were determined to study the relationship between these parameters and breast cancer in Iraqi women.  Results showed that there is a significant negative correlation

This work aims to investigate the deformation processes at high strain rates. Three types of high strain rate loading are investigated, 1) cyclic deformation 2) monotonic loading 3) shock and impact loading. Multiscale dislocation dynamics plasticity (MDDP) model is used to investigate the evolution of dislocation microstructure in copper single crystals subjected to low cycle fatigue loading. Half cycle total plastic strain simulations are carried out at strain amplitudes ranging from 1×10⁻³ to 8×10⁻³. The initial hardening is investigated and the micro-structural cause behind it is presented. In addition, the evolution of the microstructures is examined. In depth analyses of the dislocation microstructures show that: 1) dislocation walls that are parallel and very close to each other are formed, 2) these walls contain dipoles that keep on zipping and unzipping during the first few cycles until they reach some stable zipping configuration. We can see that the hardening rate decreases with the increase of the number of cycles where we have large hardening rate in the first cycles then we reach to somehow constant stress. Our results are qualitatively in good agreement with recent experimental results of low cycle fatigue deformation. In addition, MDDP is used to investigate the effect of strain rate on the behavior of copper single crystals subjected to monotonic loading. The simulations are carried out at strain rates between 1×10⁴ and 1×10⁹. From the stress-strain curves of the simulations, the yielding stress increases with the strain rate then it almost saturates. For this range of strain rates two competing dislocation multiplication mechanisms are present. For strain rates up to ≈ 1×10⁷, heterogeneous nucleation i.e. activation of Frank-Read sources is the governing mechanism for dislocation multiplication whereas above that homogenous nucleation is the governing mechanism. كان التصادم ومايزال أهم خطر بحري يهدد الرحلة البحرية وهذا ماجعل الكثير من الدول البحرية تتجه منذ القدم إلى وضع قواعد خاصة بالتصادم البحري . على أن طبيعة الرحلة البحرية وكذا طبيعة العلاقة المرتبة عن حادث التصادم والتي ترتبط في أغلب الأحيان بدول مختلفة وبالتالي قوانين مختلفة ، جعل من هذا الحادث أهم مصدر للتنازع سواء من حيث الإختصاص التشريعي أي تحديد القانون الواجب التطبيق أو من حيث الإختصاص القضائي المتمثل في تحديد الجهة القضائية المختصة دوليا. وهذه كلها عقبات حاولت الكثير من الدول البحرية تخطيها والقضاء عليها من خلال إبرام بعض المعاهدات الجماعية في هذا المجال
