Mega Sporting Events have become a way of transforming cities around the world. However, the sustainability of these large-scale transformations is questioned. This thesis aims to investigate the adaptability of stadium precincts post-Qatar 2022 World Cup based on selected case studies from Al Rayyan municipality. The challenges of using large facilities such as iconic stadiums are worth investigating.The thesis aims to find answers to the following questions: To what extent is Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums is adaptive to its precincts? What impacts the adaptability of Qatar 2022 World Cup stadiums? And How an adaptive strategy through public-private partnership can take place for Post 2022 World Cup?A selection of case studies from Qatar includes Khalifa International Stadium, Qatar Foundation and Al Rayyan Stadiums are examined to answer the research questions. The thesis is based on qualitative case study research with three data collection and analysis tools. The tools used are site assessment (observations), expert interviews, and secondary data that include feedback from Al Rayyan residents toward Al Rayyan stadiums and precincts. The data is analyzed in the light of New Urbanism and the thesis conceptual framework to examine impact factors, opportunities and challenges for adaptability after a mega sporting event.The research findings show that Qatar 2022 stadiums precincts can be very adaptable but can also face many challenges. Challenges include land use regulations, walkability, lack of unified urban design code, lack of housing options, and low building densities. Most of the challenges are beyond the scope of the stadiums’ owners. The extent of Qatar 2022 stadium adaptability to its precincts is promising, especially for stadiums that are within an existing urban development.in addition, factors impacting the stadiums adaptability included the stadium location, the design process and stakeholder’s involvement. However, stakeholder’s involvement also impacted the selection of the stadium location and the design process which emphasize the significance of a public-private partnership.

In this thesis, I explore how the Islamic religion manifests itself as a tool for governing life for the women who study at al-Zahraa Hawza in Beirut. Through an ethnographic account based on fieldwork that I have conducted at the school’s campus, I address the question of what it means to govern one's life in the learning process at the Hawza, for women who are engaged in its activities. I argue that in this learning process, the Hawza as an educational institution assumes the role of a mediator between this worldly life and the hereafter for its members. In analyzing this role, I show that the Hawza represents a spatialization of what I call, after Naveeda Khan (2012), Muslim becoming . I argue that the members of the Hawza have their aspirations of self-betterment shaped through instruction at the school. And in their striving to reach these aspirations, they face moments of skepticism towards the means made available for this striving. Furthermore, I argue that the Hawza, as a place of religious argumentation and debate, fosters an impetus for ongoing striving. For doing that, I look at three main aspects of this institutionalization of religion represented by the Hawza: one is how the school’s curriculum is designed and what formulations are used to justify the attempt at transforming it from the traditional style of religious teaching to mirror modern day university curricula. Two is manners in which a student at the Hawza is advised-instructed to govern her life, particularly in her relationship with God, with kin, and with society. And three is a form of a specific positionality-identity that the Hawza assumes and expects its students to assume, in relationship to an other , whom it works with-against-in response to. I engage with concepts such as governmentality; Muslim striving, aspiration and skepticism; and identity formation and mediation.

Au terme de notre recherche, nous nous permettons d’affirmer la réalisation de notre hypothèse de départ. De ce fait, nous pouvons désormais répondre à notre problématique sur le rapport entre personnage, espaces, et thématiques dans Amel. Nous avons étudié notre corpus à travers trois chapitres dans lesquelles nous avions répondu à la problématique posée dans l’introduction. Grace a l’étude que nous avons mené dans le premier chapitre, nous avons remarqué que le personnage joue un rôle très important dans le déroulement de l’histoire, autrement dit le personnage est le centre du roman où cet univers est composé pour répandre à ses exigences. Effectivement le personnage principale Amel affirme ce constat car toute l’histoire du roman tourne autour de lui. Après avoir repéré les espaces de notre roman, nous avons remarqué qu’il véhicule deux formes d’espace : ferme, en générale ce sont des espaces de m’alaise étouffement et d’injustice, dans lesquels le protagoniste était coincé et conditionné comme : la maison, comme deuxième forme les espaces ouverts qui sont des lieux d’échange, ou le personnage jouit d’une certaine liberté, mais pendant notre étude nous avions constaté qu’un espace ouvert peut jouer le rôle d’un espace fermé et vice versa. Pour notre protagoniste ccs espaces constituaient le chemin vers la paix et la justice.L’étude des personnages et espaces de notre roman nous a mené à repérer des thèmes tabous dans la société, les déplacements de notre protagoniste dans ces différents espaces les ont mis face aux plusieurs genre de soumission. De là nous pouvons comprendre que c’est un texte engagé et que l’auteur a mis son personnage comme un porte-parole pour nous parlerdes thèmes tabous d’actualité et sur la question de la femme patriarcale.

تناول هذا البحث دراسة البنية السردية في رواية )طريق العودة( ليوسف السباعي، وقد توزع العملعلى مدخل وفصلين.تطرقت في المدخل إلى ماهية الرواية ونشأتها في الأدب العربي، ثم قدمت مفهوم السرد ومكوناته.أما الفصل الأول فاشتمل الجانب النظري من البحث من خلال تحديد مفهوم وأنواع البنى الثلاثةالمتمثلة في الشخصيات والمكان والزمن.وبالنسبة للفصل الثاني فكان فصلا تطبيقيا، تناولت فيه تمهيد احتوى على سيرة يوسف السباعيوملخص لرواية "طريق العودة".ثم قمت باستخراج شخصيات الرواية وقسمتها حسب دورها إلى شخصيات رئيسة وثانوية وأخرىهامشية.كما استخرجت أماكن الرواية وبينت أنواعها، وكذلك تناولت الزمن في الرواية من حيث استعمالالكاتب لمفارقة الاسترجاع والاستباق، وكذا تقنيات زمن السرد.

تعتبر الإدارة الإلكترونية من اهم الاستراتيجيات لترشيد الخدمة العمومية وقد تناولنا في دراستنا هذه "دور الإدارة الالكترونية في تحسين خدمة المواطنين - دراسة حالة بلدية بوسعادة – والتي هدفت الى إزالة الغموض عن مفهوم الإدارة الإلكترونية ودورها في تحسين خدمة المواطنين انطلاقا من الإشكالية : إلى أي مدى ساهمت الإدارة الإلكترونية ببلدية بوسعادة في تحسين الخدمة العمومية؟وقداعتمدناعلىمنهجدراسةحالةباعتبارهالمنهجالملائمبتوزيع استمارتي استبيان احداهما موجهة للجمهور الداخلي للبلدية وهم موظفي المصلحة البيومترية والأخرى للجمهور الخارجي للبلدية وهم المواطنين وبعد تحليل النتائج خلصنا الى النتائج التالية :التحول نحو الادارة الالكترونية كان نتيجة للتحولات التي مست الادارة خلال الالفية الاخيرة .نجاح الادارة الالكترونية في الجزائر مرتبط بتوفر العديد من المتطلبات.ان بلدية بوسعادة تقدم خدمات ذات جودة من خلال تطبيقها للادارة الالكترونية.
