Over the ages , the Holy Koran has been translated into several languages , These translations were often successful . and failed very much in conveying its deep meanings to the other cultures , due to its unique inimitability and good style of the source language in which it was revealed , which is our Arabic language .Is among the target languages into which the Holy Koranic text was transferred . since it belonged to the same language family of which Arabic itself is a member ( family of Semitic languages ) , it is quite natural that conveying the Koranic meaning into it would be more at hand and easy than it is to other languages which belong to different language families because they share so many linguistic characteristics , being branches of one source .Our discussion of the problems of translating meaning of the Holy Koran into Hebraic language aims at conveying to what extent the translator has been successful and unsuccessful in translating the meanings of the revealed Book , making a comparison between the text in the original language and its outcome in the text in the target language , following the comparative method in our research , selecting one translation of the Hebraic ones of the meaning of the Holy Koran , which is that of Uri Rubin .Uri Rubin translated the last Hebraic translation of the meanings of the Holy Koran , which was issued in Tel Aviv in 2005 A.D. , which is the most resent and closer to modern Hebraic language .Our research purposes to examine the extent to which the translater was successful in utilizing modern Hebrew as a target language in conveying meanings of the Koranic Text to it , and the extent to which he was influenced with modern Hebrew which deviated from its path , being influenced by languages that pertain to other linguistic families .We have assigned the story of profhet Moses ( peace be upon him ) in Holy Koran as discussion and comparison model ; because it is the longest among stories of the Prophets mentioned in the HolyKoran .The research comprises three parts : The first part concerned itself with translations of the Koranic Text . it included an introduction which explains the development and meaning of translation science , followed by a brief presentalion of the Koranic meanings to other languages , then focusing on Hebraic translations of the meanings of the Holy Koran :Their number ? their compilers ?Location where they have been issued ?In the second part , the locations where the story of Prophet Moses ( peace be upon him ) have been cited in both the Holy Koran and the Torah , and the extent of similarity and difference in the story between both books , because the Holy Koran is the original Text , and the Torah or the Old Testament is the most important religious book in the Tronslotor's culture , who belongs to the Judaic religion , hence , it cannot be ignored as a significant source which had its effect on the translator this has been focused upon in the second field of investigation in this part , in which we tackred the effect of the Torah on Rubin's Hebraic translation .The story of Prophet Moses ( peace be on him ) in the Holy Koran constituted the subject matter of this part . Numerous notes and faults which Rubin indulged in when translating have been extracted .The objection of research is to introduce a modest contribution to the field of study of the Hebraic translations of the Holy Koranic meanings , and the mistakes committed by Hebraic translators of its meanings ; where a number of researchers have compiled books in which they studied the translations of the Holy Koranic meanings into Hebrew , among whom we mention : Jamal Al Rifa'i , who published a research titled : " Discussion of the Problems of translating meanings of the Holy Koran into Hebraic language , which he published in Cairo in the year 1994 A.D. .Rabab Ahmad Mohamed Abdullotif , on the other hand has prepared a research for obtaining the Master Degree in comparative linguistics titled " Translating Metaphor in the Holy Koran through the tow translations of Revlin and Rubin It was My Professor Dr. Tammam Al Ayyoubi , who urged me to select this Research to whom I owe my thanks and esteem for his sponsoring my stady and helping me in my present research .May God grant us success
