Aim of study:To Study of prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients and study of risk factors for gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Materials and Methods:At the end of the study period, 140 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), who were diagnosed with the disease, or newly diagnosed patients, all aged 40 years of age, and based on clinical symptoms were divided into two groups:the first group of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease Gastroesophageal reflux disease This group included 38 patients, while the second group included chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with 102 gastroesophageal reflux disease. We studied the effect of some risk factors on the presence of gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, andwe studied the effect of gastroesophageal reflux disease on the netting fracture in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Results:The prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was 27.14%, which is high comparedto the prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease in general, which was 20.66% in our study. Female sex and age can be considered a risk factor for gastroesophageal reflux disease inpatients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, women may be considered at 53% more risk of gastroesophageal reflux disease than men. Gastroesophageal reflux disease may be considered a risk factor for breaking the netting in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), in order to treat the symptoms of coughing, chest pain, and dyspnea. Conclusion:Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a significantly associated disease of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and is a factor affecting the netting fracture
