Tourism is an important sector that plays a key role in the economy. The reasons for attention to the tourism sector in different countries back to the positive effects on the number of economic variables such as grow domestic product, balance of payments, employment, labor, the general budget and the development of rural areas.Hence the importance of providing the financing for the development of tourist facilities and increase the tourist offer and improvement of various banking services offered to tourists and tourism investors.The aim of this research is to identify the reality of tourism investment in Syrian Coast, its obstacles and incentives, and to identify the role of Syrian Public banks in financing the tourism development, support the tourism investment and improve the tourism generally.The research aims either to identify the consultant informational role of banks which provided to the tourism investors and the effectiveness of its service role, and to identify the role of Syrian public banks in achieving the tourism development in Syrian Coast.The researcher followed a descriptive analytical methodology, and adopted a survey study method depending on questionnaire as a tool to collect the data. It distributed to the manager in all administrative levels, the data processed and analyzed using SPSS-20.The researcher reached to the following conclusions: banks managers find that the public banks perform its suitable financing role in activate the tourism investment, while the tourism investors find that this role is not adequate, the researcher find that the financing role of public banks is limited and not adequate also.Managers and investors find that the service role of public banks do not achieve the desired target in meeting the requirements of the tourism establishments and that banks services do not meet the desired quality which certifies tourists
