الملخص

The controllability of the classical epidemiological SIR model of Kermack and McKendrick with spatial diffusion is studied in application to the sentinel method of Lions, where we consider the observation and the control having their support in two different open sets. The perturbation does affect the ill population I while the initial condition of the susceptible individuals S is incomplete. These considerations motivate our work. We show that we have null-controllability, which proves the existence of a sentinel for the SIR model. Considering this model without spatial diffusion, we show that the dynamics changes and that a coexistence equilibrium exists, and that the equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable under some conditions. The study of equilibrium state stability is essentially made by the construction of Lyapunov functions combined with the LaSalle invariance principle. La contrôlabilité du modèle épidémiologique classique SIR de Kermack et McKendrick avec diffusion spatiale, est étudiée en application à la méthode sentinelle de Lions, où nous considérons l'observation et le contrôle ayant leur support dans deux ouverts différents. La perturbation affecte la population malade I alors que l'état initial des individus susceptibles S n'est pas complètement connu. Ceci, motive l'utilisation de la méthode des sentinelles de Lions. Nous montrons que nous avons une contrôlabilité à zéro, ce qui prouve l'existence d'une sentinelle pour le modèle SIR.En considérant ce modèle sans diffusion spatiale, on montre que la dynamique change et qu'un équilibre de coexistence a lieu, qui est globalement asymptotiquement stable sous certaines conditions.L'étude de la stabilité des états d'équilibres est essentiellement faite par la construction des fonctions de Lyapunov combinées avec le principe d'invariance de LaSalle.
