الملخص

This study aimed to know the level of psychological stresses among hypertensive patient inrelation with some variables in Khartoum north locality and Omdurman locality. The researcherused the descriptive methodology .The sample of this study consisted of ( 100) hypertensive ,( 33 ) males (67) females from the health center in Khartoum state the researcher used strafedrandom sample . The hypertensive patient which is prepared from the stresses scale for diabeticsby Gasem AlmrzogiThe statistic approaches used by the researcher are .1- T – test for one sample2- T – test to compare to different sample3- person correlation coefficient4- One – way analysis of variance ( ANOVA )The results showed that :1- The hypertensive patient are suffering medium level of psychological stresses2- There is significant difference in psychological stresses due to gender favorite for males3- There is significant difference in psychological stresses due to social status .4- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and educational level5- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and the age .6- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and duration of the illnessThe researcher concluded by recommendation , the most important one is that , medicaldepartment should include behavioral psychotherapy and counseling units specially for psychosomatic patient
