1- Recognizing the moral Elevation of social researchers.2- Identifying the statistically significant differences in moral elevation according to the variables of gender and age.3- Identifying the preferred self-image of social researchers (realistic or ideal).4- Identifying the statistically significant differences in the self-image (realism – ideal) according to the gender variable (male – female) and age (less than 35-35 and more).5-Recognizing the correlation between moral elevation and each of the two self-images (realism – ideal).6- Identifying the differences in the correlation between moral elevation and self-image according to (gender) and age (less than 35 – greater than 35).The current research is determined by (social researchers in the Iraqi Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs) (male – female) for the academic year (2020 2021) in all Iraqi governorates, and the research sample consisted of (300) researchers who were chosen randomly.Search tools:1. The researcher built a moral elevation scale based on the theory (Kohlberg, 1969) and the psychometric properties of the scale were extracted, and the reliability coefficient reached by the Alpha Cronbach method (0.76) and by the retest method (0.78).2. The researcher built a scale of the self-image (realism – ideal) based on the theory (Rogers, 1969) and also extracted the psychometric properties of the scale, and the reliability coefficient of the Alpha Cronbach method for the realistic self-image reached (0.782) and (0.891) for the ideal self-image, and by a method of reconstructing The test reached the reliability of the scale of realistic self-image (0.801) and idealism (0.904). Statistical Means: After completing the application of the two scales, the researcher used the appropriate statistical means to analyze them, as he used the Statistical Portfolio for Social Sciences, and the results showed the following:1- The social researchers enjoy the moral elevation.2- There are no statistically significant differences in moral elevation according to the gender variable.3- There are statistically significant differences in moral elevation according to age and in favor of less than (35) years.4- The preferred self-image for researchers is the ideal self-image.5- There are no statistically significant differences in the self-image (realism – ideal) according to the variable of gender and age.There is a positive direct correlation between moral elevation and between the realistic self-image and the ideal self-image.6-There are statistically significant differences in the correlation between moral advancement and realistic self-image according to gender and in favor of males, and there are differences according to age and in favor of less than 357-There are statistically significant differences in the correlation between moral advancement and ideal self-image according to gender and in favor of males, and there are differences according to age and in favor of 35 and over.8-In light of these results, the researcher presented some recommendations and suggestions, as explained in Chapter Four.
