ترجمة الملخص

Purpose:To evaluate the effect of latanoproston central corneal thicknessin patients with primary open angle glaucoma .Methods:15 eyes with open angle glaucoma received latanoprost 0.005 monotherapy once daily were examined periodically to show the effect of the treatment on central corneal thickness and compared with changes in 15normal eyes which received no therapy"follow up was performed for 6 monthesMeasurements were obtained with corneal topography "cso"Results:there were no significant differences between latanoprost group and control group for sex, age,and CCT.Statistically significant reduction in mean CCT was observed in latanoprost group (p0.05) but not in control group (p=)Conclusions: long-term use with latanoprost may decrease CCT in patients with primary open angle glaucoma . Therefor ,clinicians must pay attention longitudinal CCT variations that may arise throughout the follow up period for a proper IOP targeting
