الملخص

Interprofessional collaboration has been described as an opportunity to improved patient safety and reduced conflicts among health professionals. Interprofessional relationships are central in collaborative efforts. This cross sectional study aims to investigate the perception of medical laboratoriesstaff toward interprofessional practice using modified Interprofessional Collaboration Model Questionnaire (PINCOM-Q). The sample (n=111) included medical laboratoriesprofessionals who worked ineight governmental hospitals in Khartoum State. In general staff with administrative experience has a more positive perception towards interprofessional practice than staff without administrative experience (P. value =0.016) and statistical insignificant difference perception towards IPP between male and female, permanent and temporary staff and between with staff with post graduate study (P. value ≥ 0.05).Understanding the basics of IPP and the perception of IPP within the medical laboratories may open doors to further research among different interprofessional staffs.
