This project covers the giant Nestlé; briefing its giant history, its worldwide expansion, and its regional operations management. More specifically, this research focuses on Nestlé Lebanon and its warehousing management. the problems faced with procurement, storage, delivery, distribution, and logistics. The manual control of the warehouse is the main problem naming the losses resulting of this operation. The internal manual practices are covered through documents review, interviews, and site surveying helped us to determine the erroneous practices and necessary enhancements through the introduction of the missing- RFID, slip sheets, AGVs, and Sorting belts- technology. Why does Nestlé Lebanon not go for greater automation? How much is it losing/gaining of not doing so? To what extent should/can the company automate? Do Nestlé Lebanon current capabilities support a shift and sustainable growth with the current set up at Nestlé? What are the necessary physical, organizational, and managerial modifications needed for this shift to take place successfully? Is this shift worth going for? Are there any restrictions or limitations of any kind that may make this technology acquiring obsolete, useless or inefficient? This study attempts to shed lights on all these issues, and eventually highlight their benefits and feasibility of such a shift in warehousing and logistics management. Practical recommendations for the appropriate execution of such an enterprise are delineated.Additionally, 57% of recruiters surveyed said they believe the recruitment and selection process in Lebanon is subjective. Thus, most of the criteria do affect the decision making. Favoritism, nepotism and cronyism occur in almost half of the companies surveyed and over half of Lebanese recruiters surveyed believe that the recruitment process in Lebanon is subjective.
