Les connaissances anatomiques, physiologiques; propédeutiques et thérapeutiques sont indispensable chez un vétérinaire praticiens lors de césarienne.La technique paralombaire est l’une des méthodes la plus efficace pour le traitement de la plupart des types de dystocie a donné de bons résultats immédiats et tardifs dans le traitement des dystocies, elle est préconisée aussi car elle assure une certaine sécurité pour la mère et aussi pour le foetus, surtout si elle est utilisée au bon moment et dans de bonnes conditions pendant et après l’opération.Le fait que la césarienne est le plus souvent une intervention d’urgence difficilement programmable, justifie qu’elle doit être parfaitement maitrisée et non banalisée. De plus, le praticien ne doit pas être esclave d’une méthode ou d’une technique, mais il doit connaitre les diverses possibilités d’intervention afin de savoir choisir la solution la plus adaptée.
