- This study deals with the international conflict on the Red Sea, between 1798 and 1841 by tracing the political and historical roles that have been associated with the sea since the French campaign in Egypt to the signing of the Treaty of London and the efforts made by the conflicting and competing countries to control it and reflect this importance on the international situation Since the establishment of the geographical disclosure movement in Portugal and the discovery of the road of the Cape of Good Hope, the role of the Red Sea has declined. The new road became the direct water crossing between the East and the West. The role of the Red Sea was limited to being an inland sea. This was a major blow to the Arab-Islamic economy. One of the main reasons that led to the fall of the Mamluk Sultanate and the rise of the Ottoman Sultanate, which took control of the region and deprived European ships from entering the Red Sea and made it an Islamic lake despite the attempts of commercial companies (Dutch -English -French) access to the countries bordering the Red Sea. When the European countries witnessed a comprehensive Renaissance at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the nineteenth century, which led to an industrial revolution in all spheres of life, economic movement flourished. European countries began to look at the importance of the Red Sea, especially after the French campaign against Egypt To reach the road of India to stand between them and their colonies, but it found a great conflict with France to maintain its influence in the Red Sea as Russia sought its wars with the Ottoman Sultanate to have a foothold in the region from here began the international conflict on this sea, It was attacked by several measures, including England controlling Aden in 1838, and treaties ending the commercial monopoly and political influence of Egypt such as the Treaty of Lehman and the London Treaty of 1841, concluding this study. The most important results achieved
