الملخص

The student of the course of the jurisprudentialmovement in Algeria during the Ottoman era must haveknown two schools of Islamic jurisprudence:The Hanafi school / Maliki school, as the latter prevailed inAlgeria for a long period of time, before the advent of theOttomans. The 16th century brought with them the Hanafischool of thought, which is considered an official doctrine ofthe Ottoman state, and a doctrine of the official authority inthe province of Algeria. He was distinguished by the dualityof his body between the Hanafis and the Malikis, in additionto the field of confinement, endowment and education, whichbrought together jurists and teachers of the two schools ofthought, with a teaching curriculum that includes thejurisprudence of the two schools of thought.This coexistence and compatibility between the Maliki andHanafi sects had repercussions on society and the rulingauthority, as the relationship of cooperation and coordinationbetween them was characterized in several matters and inmany general issues related to Algerian society, but this doesnot exclude that coexistence prevailed a kind of tension andestrangement, as well as grudge in some matters and issues.General marred kind of conflict.
