The research attempts to compromise a linguistic case, concerning A Pragmatic Study of information, Communication, and Persuasion. To detect strategies of Persuasive speech. As informative communicative determinants, have an important role in directing the discourse towards the grooming and influence of the address "recipient". So the reading process provides us with a renewed knowledge stock, we can walk "delve" into the paths of knowledge and thought. And find the links between the process of reading and modern linguistic studies. Which has undergone considerable development since the end of the 19thcentury. These studies are the language of the material, and the most capable to draw accurate results. the appearance of pragmatics was one of the essays of modern linguistic studies, whose functions have been identified in the study of linguistic processes in the context of their social performance. And the ways and means of using language relationships successfully, and the image of the producer of the speech, and its recipients, and their transformations within the different communicative context within which the discourse is performed. The study also examines the mechanism of applying these studies to linguistic texts are models of political rhetoric in the Umayyad era. among the linguistic uses that enticed the linguists were Rhetoric as an inveterate art and instrument of communication between the human community. The speech product depends on linguistic tools and mechanisms that give it multiple dimensions inseparable from the same statement, and employs them artistically and professionally to achieve grooming ''seduction", influence and persuasion, In order to serve his objectives and purposes. Political rhetoric at the time when the State was formed in its modern sense, was a rich field in persuasion and presentation of arguments and proofs. and it was a media platform and instrument of communication and persuasion in the relationship between the Parties and political group. Therefore, the reference to the literature of that era was an important necessity for reading it from the perspective of modern linguistic pragmatics studies. Which consider the language in its relation to the world and human, and provide us with new possibilities that make our vision of the speech creations that resulted from the social and political mobility of the emerging parties of that era. Moreover, The research attempts to set up a compromise that clarifies both sides of saying: theoretical and practical and strategies employed for persuasion taking into account that one main function of discourse is the impact upon the receiver "addressee" and persuading him of the goals of this speech A Case Study of Political Rhetoric in The Omayyad Era
