ترجمة الملخص

The study of the hydraulic analysis of the flood plain is considered recent, the physical models and hydraulic calculations that have been conducted in the mid-twentieth century paved the way for the development of complex software programs, as a result of the increase and development of these programs, they helped to shorten the time and save effort to study and draw inundation maps. The use of modeling programs for the purposes of the hydraulic analysis with GIS and CAD drawing tools lead to more accurate hydraulic analysis. The wide spread of the hydraulic analysis software allowed to carry out detailed analyzes in the field of inundation maps and study the effect of facilities which include bridge ferries roads dams barriers cross-sections and transfers .It must be noted here that the engineer experience plays an important role in building a model .modeling requires gifted hydraulic engineer with extensive experience, the modeler must be able to establish and analyzes data and work to simulate flood in way that reflect the real situation .This research providesa baseline study of the development of numerical modeling in in undation maps drawing field and an explanation for the different applications in this are a in order to deter mineare as that prone to inundation and work to minimize the risks and damage as much as possible .In this research a model for Al-Kabeer Al-shemaliRiver has been built and this model covered the area that extending from the16October dam to the mouth of the river in to the sea, then inundation maps for this are a has been of emergencyra in storm were determined and drawn by running the model in deferent scenarios for flows, the maximum flow that taken in this research is the 100 year flood .The search determined important installations that located within inundation areas and can be effected by the flood, then the search developed a proposal for the protection of these facilities depending on building protection screens .The search set number of recommendations to limit the damage caused by flood
