الملخص

The study was structured around two main axes: on the one hand, a chemotaxonomic analysisbased on the similarity coefficients of Dice and Ochiai; on the other hand, a molecularapproach relying on the 16S rRNA gene sequence. It conducted on thirteen species from thephylum Actinomycetota, all belonging to the genus Microbispora, namely: M. rosea, M.catharanthi, M. saimensis, M. hainanensis, M. bryophytorum, M. triticiradicis, M. camponoti,M. soli, M. sitophila, M. clausenae, M. oryzea, M. maris, and M. corallina. The objective ofthe study was to conduct a comparative analysis among Microbispora species, and to identifythe species most closely related to Microbispora maris (considered the reference), through acomparison of chemotaxonomic and molecular analysis results. For this purpose, the Ochiaiand Dice coefficients were applied to data derived from the chemical composition of the cellwalls, while bioinformatic algorithms were used to align nucleotide sequences and estimategenetic distances. The results revealed a partial discrepancy between the two approaches. Thechemotaxonomic analysis indicated that M. catharanthi was the closest species to M. maris,whereas the molecular analysis identified M. rosea as the most closely related species. Thisstudy confirms that the two approaches are complementary for taxonomic classificationpurposes.
