These excavations came up with the discovery of the hundreds of monuments including the Royal scripts, statues and wall carved pieces, and this helped for the knowledge of the past and the history of the kingdom civilization .The distinguished site of Sham'al kingdom which was established in the first half of the first millenniums BC in the far north-west of Syria, on the eastern foothills of the Amanus mountains lead the Assyrian kings in the Neo-Assyrian era to control and dominate it to their realm, and to get the annual tribute from them. This kingdom was ruled by many Aramic kings who found themselves obliged to make relations and allies with the new Assyrian kings, because they failed in fighting them and facing their extension projects and the kingdom witnessed in the realm of some North Kings a constructional and economic success, they described it in their inscriptions, whereas it witnessed in the realm of some others social stability, especially in the realm of Kulamuwa, who mentioned in his inscriptions his achievement of justice among the classes of the society by equality in rights and relieving the depressed class from oppression, Sham'al kingdom also worshipped, as the other kingdoms in that time, many gods, the most important of which god Adad the head of the godly community in Sham'al. for what is related to its scripts which were found in the kingdom site and the old neighboring areas, they were written in Aramic, Phoenician and Luwian Hieroglyphic languages, which indicates the civil integration which the kingdom lived, as it made a mixture of Aramic, Phoenician and Luwian cultures. The appearance of this mixture was reflected on the arts that spread in Sham'al, represented in architecture and carving. It drew the way in which the city was constructed, and the wall charts with various pictures of life found on II them, and the activities that the kingdom witnessed, which showed the great extent of success and prosperity the kingdom arrived to in that time
