الملخص

Our study has tuckled the role of the private sector in the realization oflocal development with regard to its geographical wide spread. Thus theresearch brings up to the characteristics that qualify the sector to play animportant role in the national economy, the study has been applied as well onthe Algerian economy showing out the reality of the private sector in Algeriagenerally and in the state of M'sila in particular. As a result of our study, wehave found that the private sector plays a big role in the realization of thelocal development goals through the diversity of the national economy; andthe augmentation of the economic activity rates; as well as the provision ofjobs for local citizens ;and moreover the provision of products that cover thelocal market. Furthermore, the private sector conributes to enhancecompetitveness and to improve the rfficiency of local public services
