Thanks for Allah who has taught man every thing, I call to witness that there is no God but Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet (peace be upon him) whom Allah sent to nations. This study aimed at studying the jurisprudent methodology of El-Emam Al-Kurafi and it also aimed at showing the methodology of one The recent scholars of the principles of jurisprudence, and the reason behind my choice to this subject. The methodology is the basis of science and civilizations. Another thing, the interest of Muslims in methodology is not the same as the one during previous religious writers past, Al-Emam Al-Kurafi is the first of these who wrote about the principles of jurisprudent and his books and his opinions provoked the interest of jurists, Also, his books and opinions dominated their writings. The Methodology of Al-Kurafi has its own effect on the later jurists who depended on it in their writings. The expected findings of this study are to study this subject according to the methodology and this study aimed at removing the imperfection, filling the gaps and collecting the parts which are dispersed in different books till the subject takes, its full form which facilitates the dealing and using of this research. Also, this study aimed at presenting the importance of methodology in Islam and the interest of Muslim scientists in methodology. Moreover, this study aimed at showing the characteristics of methodology according to Al-Kurafi (many God rest his soul in peace ) This study consists of an introduction, seven Chapters and conclusions. The introduction tackles the importance of this study subject and the reason behind it, and the reviewed of related literary works in. In Chapter one, the researcher, tackles Al-Kurafi’s life and his period, Also, he tackles the political, social and scientific conditions that Al-Kurafi witnessed through his life. Moreover, The researcher talked about Al-Kurafi is life and his education and his famous teachers, and students. In Chapter two, The researcher tackles the methodology of Al-Kurafi in showing opinions. This Chapter consists of two methodologies. A special and a general methodology. These methodologies were adapted by Al-Kurafi. In Chapter three, the researcher tackles the methodology of Al-Kurafi in deducting opinions. In addition, The methodology of Al-Kurafi contains the deducting opinions, in addition , the methodology of AL-Kurafi contains the deductions of evidences which are agreed with and those are not. In Chapter four, the research deals with the methodology of Al-Kurafi in favouring among views. Also, the researcher talks about the meaning of preference and how Al-Kurafi adopted it.In Chapter five, the researcher compares between the methodology of IBN Al-Hajeb and Al-Kurafi’s in the principles of jurisprudence. In Chapter six, the researcher tackles the role of Al-Kurafi in the science of jurist Besides, the researcher tackles his influence in classification and the influence of the later jurists. Finally, Chapter seven tackles the methodology of Al-Kurafi in transferring views, accuracy of form, logical order for the parts of this study and the attitude of Al-Kurafi towards the previous and contemporary scientists. The conclusion consists of the Findings of this study
