الملخص

تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل أثر النمو السكاني على تطورات سوق الشغل في الجزائر خلال الفترة 1980–2017، من خلال دراسة تأثير مجموعة من المتغيرات الديموغرافية (معدل الزيادة الطبيعية، معدل الإعالة، معدل الزواج، نسبة التحضر، ومعدل المواليد) على مؤشري سوق العمل الأساسيين: معدل البطالة ومعدل الشغل. أظهرت النتائج أن المتغيرات الديموغرافية تفسر حوالي 80.7% من التباين في هذين المؤشرين، مع تفاوت ملحوظ في شدة التأثير. فقد برزت نسبة التحضر، معدل الزواج، ومعدل الزيادة الطبيعية كأكثر العوامل تأثيرًا، حيث أظهرت ارتباطًا دالًا إحصائيًا مع كل من البطالة والشغل، وإن بدرجات متفاوتة. خلصت الدراسة إلى أهمية تبني سياسات تشغيل متكيفة مع التحولات الديموغرافية، وتعزيز الاستثمار في القطاعات الاقتصادية الحديثة ودعم المقاولاتية، بهدف تحقيق توازن مستدام بين النمو السكاني ومتطلبات سوق العمل، والحد من اختلالات البطالة.

This study aims to analyze the impact of population growth on the dynamics of the labor market in Algeria during the period 1980–2017. It investigates the influence of a set of demographic variables (natural population growth rate, dependency ratio, marriage rate, urbanization rate, average household size, and birth rate) on two key labor market indicators: the unemployment rate and the employment rate. The results indicate that these demographic variables explain approximately 80.7% of the variance in the two indicators, with notable differences in the strength of their impact. Urbanization rate, marriage rate, and natural population growth rate emerged as the most influential factors, showing statistically significant correlations with both unemployment and employment rates, albeit to varying degrees. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of adopting flexible employment policies that align with demographic shifts, and of promoting investment in modern economic sectors and entrepreneurship. These measures are essential to achieving a sustainable balance between population growth and labor market demands, and to mitigating unemployment imbalances. (Cette étude vise à analyser l'effet de la croissance démographique sur l’évolution du marché du travail en Algérie entre 1980 et 2017, à travers l’étude de l’impact d’un ensemble de variables démographiques (taux d'accroissement naturel, taux de dépendance, taux de nuptialité, taux d’urbanisation, taille moyenne des ménages, et taux de natalité) sur deux indicateurs clés du marché du travail : le taux de chômage et le taux d’emploi. Les résultats ont montré que ces variables démographiques expliquent environ 80,7 % de la variation de ces deux indicateurs, avec des différences notables dans l’intensité de leur effet. Le taux d’urbanisation, le taux de nuptialité et le taux d’accroissement naturel se sont révélés être les facteurs les plus influents, montrant une corrélation statistiquement significative avec le chômage et l’emploi, bien que de manière inégale. L’étude conclut à la nécessité d’adopter des politiques d’emploi flexibles, adaptées aux transformations démographiques, et de promouvoir l’investissement dans les secteurs économiques modernes ainsi que l’entrepreneuriat. Ces actions sont essentielles pour atteindre un équilibre durable entre la croissance démographique et les besoins du marché du travail, et pour atténuer les déséquilibres liés au chômage)
