- Obstructive pulmonary disease can be diagnosed by atypical lung sounds superimposed on regular breath sounds. Coarse or fine crackles and hisses are commonly heard Adventitious Lung Sounds (ALS). First, we have transformed the problem into a conjuncture of image recognition by bringing auscultation to the level of spectrograms of respiratory sounds. Then we propose an approach to help with diagnosis. Where a convolutional neural network with 16 layers made it possible to classify the respiratory sounds into four classes: in the first class the presence of crackles, the second class the presence of whistles, the third class the presence of the two sounds at the same time and the fourth-class l absence of these sounds. With the following performances, precision 71%, sensitivity 67%, and F1-Score 69%, and accuracy 75%. Finally, we used the support vector machine (SVM) classification method to develop an automatic diagnosis method
