الملخص

Datura arborea est une plante vivace, des climats chauds. Elle est utilisée dans les jardins pour son aspect ornamental, avec un feuillage dense et une forte production de fleurs. Cependant, elle donne rarement des fruits. Datura arborea est considéré comme une plante toxique, à cause des alcaloïdes tropaniques qu’il contient.Notre étude a permis de constater que : cette espèce est facilement reproduite par bouturage sur des sols limoneux, non salés, légèrement basiques, moyennement faibles en matière organique et est indifférente à la composition en calcaire. Toute fois, elle exige un grand ensoleillement et un arrosage abondant avec une fertilisation du sol pour favoriser une bonne production florale.La structure anatomique de Datura arborea n’a présenté aucune différence par rapport aux autres espèces du genre Datura.La détermination des taux des alcaloïdes totaux dans les différents organes de Datura arborea montre que la teneur la plus élevée réside dans le mélange feuilles+fleurs avec 43mg/g MS. De plus, les fleurs (21mg/g MS) présentent une teneur plus élevée que celle des feuilles (11mg/g MS)

Datura arborea is a perennial plant, in hot climates. It is used in the gardens for its aspect ornamental, with a dense foliage and a strong production of flowers. However, it seldom gives fruits. Datura arborea is regarded as a toxic plant, because of alkaloids tropanic which it contains .Our study made it possible to note that, this species is easily reproduced by propagation by cutting on muddy, not salted, slightly basic, fairly weak grounds out of organic matter and is indifferent to the composition out of limestone. Any time, it requires a great sunning and an abundant watering with a fertilization of the ground to support a good floral production. The anatomical structure of Datura arborea did not present any difference compared to the other species of the Datura kind. Determination of the rates of total alkaloids in the various bodies of Datura arborea watch which the highest content lies in the feuilles+ fleurs mixture with 43mg/gMS. Moreover, the flowers (21mg/gMS) present a content higher than that of the sheets (11mg/gMS)
