الملخص

Recent studies show a huge demand for Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in the electrical sector as a form of Distribution Generators (DG), generating green energy withless carbon emissions is integrated into distribution networks DN for its advantages and availability during the year. This rise in demand has created new challenges in terms of maintaining the efficiency and performance of the Distribution Network (DN) while meeting the load of a real case study electrical grid. This research will look into two major areas. The first is to select the preferred bus location in the electrical grid based on the minimumloss reduction sensitivity factor, LRSF. Second, to utilize an optimization algorithm inspired by the patterns of firefly insects to determine the optimal size of PV DG in the case study. While check to reduce total power system losses without violating the practical system constraints of the transmission line for IEEE standards that have been used to set up the distribution network in Palestine, and to determine the required area of the design of the PV DG of the PV plant to be built in Hebron city in the country of Palestine.
