''The Rights Of A Muslim Widow And The Society's Obligations Towards Her'', in which this study is entitled, is soimportant for the society in whicha widow suffers very severely. We notice explicit conflict between the Islam Low (Shari'a) and habits and inherited traditions, I intended to study the situation of the widow before and after Islam and nowadays.I have been personally motivated to do this study inview of my immediate involvement with thisgroup of women (i.e widows) and myawarenessof their real and emotional living conditions. This study is divided into an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion.The introduction contains the study importance, objectives, details of chapters, methodology, obstacles and the study results and recommendations.The most important element in this study, was to manifest the widow's ideal beautiful image in Islam which was applied perfectly for her welfare and the entire society, and compares it with what was in the era before Islam.The study has a number of important results. Islam has given the widow her rights to enable her and her children to have a decent and proper life. Islam has, also, preserved the rights of the Muslim widow in the best possible way. ش‌In addition, there are widows who couldn’t often achieve their rights because of customs and traditional procedures. These rights can be obtained by applying the Holy Quran and the Honourable Sunna
