() In this work, we studied the feasibility of an assembly of the Max Phase Ti3SiC2, by TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) process, using different metal fillers. The Ti3SiC2have a good thermal and electrical conductivity, and thermal choc resistant, these properties provided the possibility of using this type of process, with different metallic joints intermediates interacting in liquid forms. The brazed joints were characterized by the presence of different phases depending on the filler material nature. The filler metals used in our Ti3SiC2assembly work are: 306SS Steel, Al, and Ti. Where the and the mechanical properties in every case were carried out.The Ti3SiC2/metal joining mechanism in our study may be expressed by: Ti3SiC2decomposition to TICxin the contact region between the hot liquid metal and the MAX phase. is accompanied evaporation, and a shrinkage caused by the transformation of Ti3SiC2to TiCx, which leaded to the apparition of micro-voids in the Ti3SiC2/metal contact region. Therefore, the infiltration of the liquid metal was permitted, and consequently the brazed area was characterized by and different phases composed of diffused elements from the Ti3SiC2and the filler metals
