La BRI est un projet d’infrastructures chinois lancé par le président Xi Jinping en 2013, afin de relier économiquement la Chine au monde, y compris l’Europe, l’Afrique, l’Océanie, et l’Amérique latine. Ces infrastructures comprennent des routes terrestres et maritimes visant à faciliter les échanges commerciaux internationaux dans le but le but de stimuler la croissance économique de la Chine et les pays participants ainsi que le monde.L’objectif de ce travail, est d’analyser l’impact de la BRI sur l’économie mondiale, tout en identifiants les opportunités et les défis de cette initiative que ce soit pour la Chine ou les pays participants.La BRI a favorisé la croissance des échanges commerciaux et les Investissements Directs Etrangers (IDE) de la Chine et des pays participants, notamment les pays en développement, dans le but de stimuler la croissance économique mondiale. En revanche, la BRI provoque des endettements massifs qui engendrent une dépendance économique pour les pays participants. De plus, la BRI provoque des tensions géopolitiques et impacte négativement l’environnement.

The BRI is a Chinese infrastructure project launched by President Xi Jinping in 2013 to economically connect China with the world, including Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Latin America. These infrastructures include both land and maritime routes aimed at facilitating international trade exchanges to boost China's and participating countries', as well as the global economy growth. The objective of this work is to analyze the impact of the BRI on the global economy, while identifying its opportunities and challenges. In fact, the BRI has promoted trade and Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) growth for China and participating countries, particularly developing ones, with the aim of stimulating global economic growth. However, the BRI has led to massive debts that create economic dependency for participating countries, amplified geopolitical tensions and harmed the environment.
