الملخص

De nos jours, et depuis quelques temps déjà, les , perturbations et autres catastrophes que vie la planète, se sont avérés induits par un comportement humain irrespectueux de certains principes essentiels. Les solutions proposées étaient inefficaces car unilatérales. Les études ont depuis démontré que les causes sont multiples et enchevêtrées, pouvant être réparties sur trois axes, le social, l'économique et l'environnemental. Pour être efficace, toute solution se doit donc de prendre en considération ces trois volets en même temps. Ceci, s'avère donc être du domaine de la durabilité.A l'image d'autres domaines d'activités humaines, l'habitat se trouve très concerné, si ce n'est le plus concerné par ce problème. Dans ce sens, le présent travail se propose de déterminer le rôle et moyens que l'architecture peut et doit mettre en oeuvre dans sa contribution à la concrétisation de cette durabilité salvatrice.Après cette prise de conscience, il devient évident que pour atteindre cet objectif, tout projet architectural se doit de respecter les principes de la durabilité. Mais, l'autre prise de conscience nécessaire, est que pour voir la durabilité se généraliser, le cadre bâti doit se renouveler. Or, les éventuelles démolitions et reconstructions sans autres raisons, ne feront qu'empirer la situation.A la lumière de ce qui précède, notre étude s'est intéressé à l'utilisation d'un outil de l'architecture, en l'occurrence la réhabilitation, afin d'atteindre l'objectif fixé, et qui est la généralisation de la durabilité, en un temps court, en préservant les ressources, mais aussi et surtout en plaçant l'homme au centre des responsabilités. C'est à cette seule condition que l'on pourra considérer que la durabilité est effectivement prise en charge, que l'on pourra un jour la voir généralisée et que l'on pourra demain jouir de ses retombées, si ce n'est pas nous, ce seront les générations futures surtout.

However, any demolitions and reconstructions for no other reason, will only worsen the situation light of the foregoing, our study focused on the use of an architectural tool, in this case rehabilitation, in order to achieve the goal set, and which is the generalization of the sustainability, in a short time, preserving the resources, but also and above all by placing the man at the center of the responsibilities.
