الملخص

L’objectif de notre étude est d’évaluer la qualité physico-chimique des eaux de forages de la région de Metlili, l’une de commune relevant de la wilaya de Ghardaïa et dont un nombre non négligeable de sa population s’alimente en eaux souterraines. L’évaluation de la qualité de ces eaux s’est basée sur les mesures de la température (T), de potentielle d’hydrogène (pH), de conductivité électrique (CE), de l’oxygène dissous (O2dissous), du titre alcalimétrique complète (TAC), de dureté totale (TH), de sodium (Na+), de potassium(K+), de magnésium (Mg2+), de calcium (Ca2+), le fer (Fe2+), des sulfates (SO42-) et des chlorures (Cl-).

The aim of our study is to assess the physico-chemical quality of the borehole water of the Metlili region, one of the municipalities of the Ghardaïa wilaya, whose population feeds on groundwater. The assessment of the quality of these waters was based on measurements of temperature (T), hydrogen potential (pH), electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (dissolved O2), total alkaline content (TAC), total hardness (TH), sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), magnesium (Mg2+), calcium (Ca2+), iron (Fe2+), sulphates (SO42-) and chlorides (Cl-). The results obtained show that all recorded values of pH, TAC, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and chloride conform to the Algerian drinking water standard. For sulphates and total hardness, all values are higher than the standard, except for the boreholes of Souani, Dakhla 02, and Oued Drine (for sulphates) and the boreholes of Chaabla Arig, Zrain, Dakhla 2, Goutaa, and Chabet Gfoul Souarig (for total hardness). The variation in concentrations can be justified by the formation of the geological layers of the groundwater and by external causes, among which human activity is one of the main factors.
