الملخص

The objective of this study was to identify the role of school extra activities and some of nominal variables on the effectiveness of basic government schools in directorates northern West Bank from the principals points of view. and to identify the degree of the school extra activities and the effectiveness in this schools . The study assessed the accuracy of predictive statistical significance as well as indicators predicative capacity , such as squared multiple correlation coefficients (R2) (R2adj) , the research sample included (259 ) principals a rate of (34%) of population of the study.The most important finding of the study:There were statistically significant differences due to scientific qualification ,gender , social activities , health activities , art activities .The most important recommendations of the study:Reinforcement of the positive attitudes of school principals toward activities program and organizing and conducting seminars on the supervision of activities program in general to school principals to improve their skills in this area .
