ترجمة الملخص

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of the use of a treatment program to improve the 8th grade students achievement in the Arabic language grammar.The study population consist of 850 students from the 8th grade in Jericho area schools in the academic year 2008/2009. The study sample consists of 161 students, distributed to four sections randomly chosen from two schools: Aqabet Jaber elementary girls' school and Aqabet Jaber co-education school. The sections are distributed to four groups. Two of them are experimental groups (86 students) and the other two are control groups (75 students). The study tool was an achievement test with twenty-five multiple choice questions. the validity and reliability of the test had been tested. The results indicated that there are significant differences between students grades according to the performance of the experimental group and the control group, in favor of the experimental group. Also, a significant differences between the grades according to the performance of the experimental group and the control group in favor of the experimental group due to the new teaching method. The researcher recommended the necessity for the use of modern teaching strategies in order to improve the students' level in Arabic grammar, and to carry out workshops for Arabic language teachers about how to use it, and to prepare the Arabic language teachers in a proper way
