الملخص

La présente thèse met à contribution la méthode sociocritique de Claude Duchet afin d’étudier la socialité qui découle des trois romans de notre corpus, c’est-à-dire y analyser le déploiement et l’inscription du social. Pour ce faire, nous nous sommes focalisé davantage sur l’étude des deux principaux éléments méthodologiques adoptés par la sociocritique duchetienne pour révéler la socialité des oeuvres littéraires à savoir le discours social et le sociogramme. En effet, la présente étude nous a permis de vérifier que la présentation littéraire des sociétés textuelles et des rapports qui s’y sont établis est assez conforme à ce que l’on sait de la période qui sert de cadre historique aux trois romans. Nous nous sommes aperçu également que la mise en texte des discours sociaux est généralement dictée par les convictions morales et idéologiques des deux auteurs qui appartiennent à deux communautés humaines distinctes par la race, la culture et la religion.Mots clés : sociocritique, socialité, société de roman, discours social, sociogramme.AbstractThe present thesis puts the social criticism theory of Claude Duchet in contribution in order to study the sociality which results from the three novels of our corpus, in other words, to analyse their deployment and the inscription of the social. In order to do so, we focused more on the study of the two principal methodological elements adopted by the Duchetan social criticism to reveal the sociality of the literary works namely the social discourse and the sociogram. Indeed, the study has allowed to check that the literary representation of the textual society and the relationships established in it is so conform to what we know about the period that serves as ahistorical frame for the three novels. We also perceived that the text layout of the social discourses is generally dictated by the moral and ideological convictions of the two authors who belong to two separate human communities, distinctive by race, culture and religion.
