ترجمة الملخص

The issue of environmental protection and maintenance of its various elements has become a major focus of the axes of scientific research ,noise pollution has won a special priority since becoming noise negative situation inherent to the evolution of life in the cities cast a shadow on humans and objects and buildings. Transportation modes play the essential role in the noise existing within cities as resulting noise is about 80% of the total noise. There are many parts inside the vehicles are the main source of traffic noise, and the engine is one of the most important, especially since the work of the engines in the transport associated with a significant change in its systems of speed and load, so there is difficulty in dealing with noise caused by cars in the design means .In this paper ,we study the environmental noise pollution the city of Lattakia, a coastal tourist city. Six locations have been chosen to measure the noise level in the four main streets in the city ( Al-Thawra street, Al-Jomhoriah Street, Aleppo Street, 8 Aza Street has been divided into three sites due to its extension and its important role in the city center) and the minimum noise level srecorded in Al Thawra Street, Aleppo, Al-Jomhoriahand8 Azar Street were respectively72.38, 66.57,81.73, and 71.45[dB(A)]and the maximum value was up to 86.65[dB(A)]which is largely outweigh the permitted levels in the Syrian Arab Republic .As the noise level is affected by several factors, the most important and most influential vehicle speed and the tendency of the way, we have tested the noise level at different speeds and gradients for roads based on a sophisticated computer program that has been designed and demonstrate its accuracy by comparing its results with measured results on the ground. The results of the study showed increase in the noise level at a rate of 0.5-0.75 [dB(A)]with increased speed by 10-20[km/h], and decrease in the noise level at a rate of 0.3 [dB(A)]with a decrease speed by 10[km/h]. The increase in gradient by 2.5-10% leads to an increase in noise level by 1-4[dB(A)]
