The impact of leader ship style on organizational citizenship behavior Comparison Study between public and private banks in Syria This study aimed to identify the effect of Leadership Style in both divisions (Transformation a land Transactional) on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), of the Employees in public and private Syrian commercial banks. This study has been testing hypotheses from the viewpoint of employees in the selected banks, which is about four private banks as well Commercial Bank of Syria. To achieve the objectives of this study, were prepared a questionnaire, in order to collect primary data from the research sample, consisting of 348 single were picked up from the employees of public and private Syrian commercial banks, and after ascertaining the validity of the study tools and internal consistency og the words of the variables, were tested the hypotheses, using the SPSS program. This study concluded by a number of results:low level of know of workers in the public and private commercial banks the leadership styles followed by their leader sat work, due to the lack of communication between the parties.The concept of organizational citizenship behavior strange for a lot of workers in the public and private commercial banks, even those who engage in such behavior.Availability of organizational citizenship behavior in the private commercial banks more than it is in the public commercial banks .In the light of the results of this study were provided some suggestions:Subjecting the current managers of the training courses to increase their culture topic of leadership styles.Activating the role of workers in decision-making
