The present work is dedicated to the theoretical study of the performances of a zeolite-water adsorption heat pump powered by a solar collector. In the first part of the memoir we find a detailed explanation of the operating principle of the adsorption heat pump and its components. In the thesis, zeolites, their structures and applications are also discussed. In the memoir are also discussed zeolites, their structures and applications. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the thermodynamic study and analysis of the theoretical cycle of the adsorption heat pump operating with the Zeolite 13X / water pair. The thermodynamic study consists in the detailed formulation of the equations necessary to the determination of all the heat exchanged during phase of the cycle. The mathematical formulation also made it possible to calculate the various coefficients of performance of the adsorption heat pump as a function of the different temperatures of the cycle. It should be remembered that adsorption heat pumps are promising systems because of their ability to recover heat at low temperatures and provide heating effects. In addition, it has the advantage of using renewable, environmentally friendly, vibration-free sources of energy and low operating costs.
