.The researcher dealt with the research in four chapters, the first chapter was entitled the definition of Budaiya science and its types and includes three sections.The second chapter deals with counterpoint and its types, and it contains three sections, the first section deals with the definition of counterpoint linguistically and idiomatically, the second topic deals with positive and negative counterpoints, and the third topic deals with other types of counterpoint.The third chapter is entitled the interview and its sections, and it contains three sections, the first section deals with the definition of the interview linguistically and idiomatically, the second topic deals with the sections and types of the interview, and the third topic deals with the difference between counterpoint and the interview.As for the fourth and final chapter, it is applied and contains three sections. The first topic deals with the applications of counterpoint in the first half of the Holy Qur’an, the second topic deals with the applications of the interview in the first half of the Holy Quran, and the third topic deals with the rhetorical effect of counterpoint and the interview in the first half of the Quran.
