الملخص
Scientific research and advanced technologies have played key roles in the development of modern professional sport. Technology has led the march to build better, faster, and stronger equipment and, ultimately, athletes. These developments are evident in the rising popularity of professional sport, and its associated budgets, and international amateur competitions such as the Olympic Games. Advancing technology is seen as a leading edge in sports performance: this promising technology becomes more attractive in last years, because the data for different sports activities which are derived from sensors are novel and precise, whether if those activities are achieved in laboratory or field environment. Consciously, the obtained information can promote optimal sporting equipment and select professional athlete. Great attention to this technology was translated by workers in sports engineering research via improving the quality of sensors that are used in wearable devices. Thus, marketing of wearable devices is expanded to include public as well as the athletic teams. In the present work, the suggested system has been designed and implemented to evaluate athletic performance for football players. The designed system relies mainly on a modern technology called Raspberry Pi3 board, microcontroller Node MCU ESP-32Sand sensors to measure heart rate, body temperature, humidity and temperature environment and speed of players. The Wi-Fi technology is used as a communication tool to allow transmitting data remotely with Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol to store data in MYSQL database. In addition, data analysis process was performed by using fuzzy logic system, where the fuzzy logic system was applied in three stages, in rest state, during exercise and after the effort in order to evaluate final player performance. That success rates 98%, 96.6% and 94.6% by using Trapezoidal, Gaussian, and triangular method, respectively. This suggested system is also used to classify the football players into midfield, defense, and attack. In addition, the system is low-cost and more expandable in terms of sensors type and number of sensor nodes, which makes it suitable to measure the performance of athletes where coaches will be able to obtain data for establishing scale to activity of the athletes and weaknesses points to overcome them.
