911AbstractThis study aimed to get familiar with the requirements of applying electronic management in public and private basic education schools in Latakia. Also it aimed to know if there are differences among the average degrees of the schools directors and vice-directorson the scale of identifying the requirements of applying electronic management in public and private basic education schools in Latakia, according to the following variations: (location of schools-job-Gender-Training courses-Years of service-Educational qualification)The study used the descibtive analysis method by using a survey of (58) sections divided in to three concepts: ManagementRequirements-Material Requirements-Human Resources Requirements .This survey is addressed to a group of directors and vice-directorsof public and private basic education schools in Latakia. In addition to that an open interview with sections Heads of(Informatics, Training, Basic Education, Teaching Techniques) in the directors of educationin Latakia. The study has been applied in 2011/2012.Some of the most important results of the study are the following:1)Identifying a list of the requirements of applying electronic management in public and private basic education schools in Latakia, consisting of (10) items for managements requirements, and (13) items for economical and material requirements, and (12) items regarding human resourcesrequirements.2)On the scale of identifying the requirements of applying electronic management in public and private basic education schools in Latakia, There are differences of counting signification among the average degrees of the schools directors and vice-directors. These differences vary according to city/countryside variation at all levels of the studied aspects and the average level in general, and thus they are in favor of city schools. And according to private/public variation, at all levels managements requirements and the average level, they are in favor oftheprivateschools.3)Not finding differences of counting signification among the average degrees of the schools directors and vice-directorsaccording to the variation of job (directors /vice-directors) at all levels of the studied aspects(except at the level of managements requirements, where it comes in favor of the vice-directors) and at the general level. And according to the variation of gender, years of service, and training courses attended, at all levels of the studied aspects.4)Not finding differences of counting signification among the average degrees of the schools directors and vice-directors according to the education qualification all levels of the studied aspects(except for the managements requirements, which come in favor of the higher qualification) and at alllevels.5)Not finding differences of counting signification among the average degrees of the schools directors and vice-directorsaccordingto the study circle variation at all levels of the studied aspects(except for the managements requirements, which come in favor of the schools of first and second circle, and economical and material requirements which come in favor of the schools of the first circle) and at all levels .At the end of the study it recommends a number of suggestion, as follows are some of the most importantones:1)The necessity of providing the manage mental, economical and human resources requirements to apply the electronic management in public and private basic education schools.2)Co-ordination between the directorate of education and the faculty of education to prepare schools directors and managerial resources, and by that, a specialized personal of school management will be qualified.3) Editing the enternal system of basic education schools about the management of managerial jobs and the tasks of the schools directors and vice-directors. In accordance with the requirements of applying electronic management in public and private basic education schools4) Gathering the small sized basic education schools in a medium size schools, and by that, the possibility of providing the schools with material and human resources needs.
