- This research aims to explain the link between ICT and the overall performance of the company was explained by a number of contingent parameters, namely environmental, technological, strategic and organizational. The specificity of our research object is taken into account through a quantitative methodology, while opting mainly for a positivist epistemology. It also aims to validate expected links between them (environment, technology, strategy and organization, as exogenous variables and overall performance as endogenous variable). A survey questionnaire is sent to Algerian companies, allowing the Structural Équation Modeling Method (SEM) to confirm or not our research hypotheses. The search pattern is verified using the Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique 3.0.We note that the factors influencing the development of ICT are mainly environmental and technological. The results also show, the direct influence of ICT on overall performance. Finally, an alignment between the environmental and technological dimension (external context of ICT) allows the companies studied to be more efficient, on the one hand, and on the other, than an alignment between the strategic and organizational dimension & managerial (internal ICT context) is less significant.
