الملخص

Le récit de voyage est un genre littéraire qui se base sur la narration structuré et de la narration des évènements vécus durant le périple. La description est première dans ce genre de récit car elle attire le lecteur. L’auteur privilégie la description que la narration. Il décrit toute chose vue et toute personne rencontrée afin de représenter l’Ailleurs et l’Autre étrangers, inconnus et exotiques. Dans cette recherche, nous étudions la représentation de la ville Istanbul dans Fantôme d’Orient, pour découvrir la manière avec laquelle l’auteur “Loti” a représenté Istanbul, et sa relation avec cette ville. Pour manifester cette représentation, nous devons analyser les descriptions des espaces et des paysages, et celles des coutumes et des traditions qui démontrent la culture de cette société étrangère. Toutes ces descriptions aident le lecteur à former une image selon Pierre Loti.SummaryThe travel narrative (travelogue) is a literary genre that is based on the structured storytelling and narration of events experienced during the journey. The author prefer the description than the narration. he describes everything seen and anyone met to represent Elsewhere and Other strangers, unknown and exotic. In this research, we study the representation of the city Istanbul in "Fantôme d’Orient", "Phantom of the East" to know how the author "Loti" has represented Istanbul, and his relationship with this city. To show this representation, we must analyze the descriptions of spaces, landscapes, those customs and traditions, which demonstrate the culture of the foreign company. All these descriptions help the reader to form an image according to Pierre Loti.
